Homecoming

Finding the lava planet was easy. Sadrion had sensed a that Xardus had a deep affinity for the place, as it was the birthplace of his true training. The training that brought Sadrion to be. Looking through the memories of his host, he saw that he was trained by a man by the name of Darren Shaw. This man would most likely have questions if he saw 'Xardus' once again. Questions he didn't have answers to. Slipping his mask on, the armored man pulled his hood up and started up the steps of an old temple. Perhaps he would cross paths with this... Darron.

Smiling I could feel the darkness that had once been in my own veins. Here on the planet Mustafar, Was a lonely temple that I had once trained the young man Xardus in lightsaber combat and some in the force. I had even faced a bounty hunter that had been sent here by him. Only now did I know that this young man had fallen like I had in the past. I knew that there was no point in changing the man's mind. He had to learn from his own mistakes.

I sat alone in a throne room of the Temple that was once a home for some Lord. Of what origin I know not. Only thing I do know is that this was a place that had long been controlled by Boga. Even more that convinced me was the nature of the many crystals on this planet. If you searched in the right place, a Lava crystal could be found. I had seen only once a man wield one with the bubbles of lava the dripped from the blade cause him no harm. Even now I know naught of where he was from or why the lava had not harmed his skin. The crystals here were rumored to be coursing and shaping the dark side here in the temple made in the side of a Volcano.

But to even see this energy of these possible creations of lightsabers, or weapons that could easily be used for harm of the good of men. I had already passed the many precarious traps and faults of the mountain. Many of them were made by man, such as a trap door, or a simple spike launcher with a pressure plate. However, the worst I had escaped was a tube of lava that would burn you alive if you closed the door. Now as I could feel the energy of a man I had once known, and thought of as a younger brother, came ever so closer to the temple, clearly here for a lesson in the Dark arts that only I could give.

I would accept him once more, if he could pass the test of the Temple itself, before my test would truly begin.

Walking inside, Sadrion slowly made his way to the end of the throne room where a man sat. The inside was surely ancient, and had probably stood on the mountainside for thousands of years. He could sense the power here. Smiling malevolently beneath his mask, the dark lord advanced upon the throne, taking no time for any formal greeting. "You must be Darren. I have come to seek the knowledge in creating a Sith lightsaber. This... would be of use to me no longer." He pulled the lightsaber that belonged to his host's father. It was a weak representation of the person himself.

I sat with my back to the man who entered to the Throne room. yearning for a Sith lightsaber. I could not make one for him, nor would I help him. I would only direct. If he truly wanted a blade that represented him, he needed to make it himself. As the lightsaber was handed out I could feel him wanting to drop it and forget who he once was. With the force I called on the saber that was once used for training long ago. As my hand came out the saber hilt smacked into my hand. I pulled it in front of me to look at it. The saber was old, and used, yet I could still feel the presence of the young man I once knew in the saber. Including another man who had held it before him. I smiled as I held it out with one hand.

"If you don't need it, then destroy it now." As much as I was going to let him destroy it, I knew he would. I could feel it in the man's heart. But even then, He did not know what I had plans for him. "If you wish to move on then you must destroy your past. If you don't you will drown in it for the rest of your life."
@[member="Darth Sadrion"]

Sadrion glared at the lightsaber. He wanted to destroy it. But he knew the connection Xardus had with the weapon. If he were to destroy it, his soul would fight back, and eventually regain control. Sadrion was indeed the darker, stronger version of the man, but he feared that doing such a thing out of his character would cause a rupture in the force. "I cannot. There are... complications with me destroying my father's blade. I cannot explain any further." He reached out and grabbed the weapon once more, clipping it to his belt, then pulled out a pouch containing phrikite, which Xardus had acquired earlier. "This should be sufficient for my new weapon."

@[member="Darren Shaw"]

The man did not need to explain further, I knew what was happening. Even if he may have not, I knew. It had happened once to me infact. Taken over by a Dark entity for unknown reasons. I still did not know how it happened back then, only that for a time it took over. I smiled at the man "Yes you can. You just don't trust yourself. Therefore you can not make the blade that you wish for." Standing up I pulled on the saber that was at his belt with the force when it came to my hand once more. "If you cannot move past this on your own, then you never will. Creating a new blade will not be nearly as powerful as the one that I hold that once belonged to your father."

Pushing it back to him it floated in the air about a meter from his face. "Choose to fight what is trying to keep you from destroying this blade and claim what is yours, for if you do not, You will always be threatened by the one voice inside."

Sadrion scowled at the man as the weapon floated to his hand. A dark look on his face, he crushed it as hard as he could, using lightning to finish the job. Somewhere deep inside, a small voice yelled out, "No!" However, it was suppressed by the darkness that is Sadrion. Grinning evilly, as he believed to have the former under control, he addressed the man once more. "I am ready to build my lightsaber."

I nodded my head once as the man destroyed his saber. It was clearing the path for the young man to create his weapon of choice, and it also gave me hope. There was a small grain of hope that resided in my heart for this young man. Even if he was a Dark sided Templar, or he might have changed, I still cared for him, and would help him in his endeavor to create his blade.

"Now, Tell me how you want your saber to be? Tell me in detail about what it will look like, what it will do, what it will allow you to become. Once you have finalized this idea. I want you to put it into action where we will begin in ether making your crystal, or looking for one. However, you must know that one created by you, can be named and used only by yourself, and those who you deem worthy to use your blade. Choose wisely"

Sadrion dumped the pieces of phrikite onto a table, and began to explain the nature of the lightsaber as he saw it in his head. "I intend to give the handle a simple look, but durable with this phrikite ore. Simple runic designs will give the weapon it's uniqueness. I wish to use a synthetic crystal. If it can only be used by me, it will be all the better."

Nodding my head at the simple like design that he wanted. I was rather surprised. Usualy a Sith wanted something that was fearsome or would look dangerous rather than simple. Ether way I was nodding my head at him. "Good, now that you know what you want, I will get what you need to make the crystal." Walking towards a door I opened it with a wave of my hand. Inside were tools used long ago. Even much so. I found what I needed. A Geo compressor.

Calling from the room, I said his name of old. "Xardus!" I wanted him to come in here where he will begin working on the crystal.
@[member="Darth Sadrion"]

As his name was called, Xardus's being stirred from deep inside himself. He was awake. Sadrion cringed as he felt the oush of the mind, and glared at Darren. As he walked over to where he had been summoned, he took his mask off and snarled at him, his glowing eyes piercing the air. "Never call me by that name again, do you understand, old man?"

@[member="Darren Shaw"]

I turned around to the man as I could see Xardus' face, yet he was not there. His eyes were apparent in the way that they were yellow. I smiled remembering how my eyes were once yellow and had small specks of blue in them. Now they are blue with specks of yellow forever burned into my eyes. "If I am an old man to you, then you should..." At the last word I spun around so quick that my entire body looked like a blur. grabbing out with my hand at the man. Each of my fingers laced with lightning that would be aiming for his neck. "Learn that manners mean alot."

Sadrion smirked and dropped both hands to his sides, one arcing with electicity, the other frozen over with ice. "You should not test me. I have grown in power since we last met, and grow in power still." Henthe looked over to the machine. Is that the device that will make the crystal?"

@[member="Darren Shaw"]

I smiled as I had already known that the man was powerful, though he did not realize the trouble he would get into. I let my hand down and smiled at his question and comment. "You have become powerful, but I can still get a ladder and a brick." It was an old saying that I had heard my father once utter. The young man may not understand now, but he will later once he is older and the young people are running around everywhere. "Yes it is."
@[member="Darth Sadrion"]

Sadrion then let his hands return to normal, a sign that he didn't wish to fight. Walking over to the device, he studied it carefully. "I thought... that crystals were created by one powerful in the force. Not by some... machine."

@[member="Darren Shaw"]

I smiled as he thought that by making a crystal you would only be using the force. Shaking my head at him I pointed to it. "No, for you to create an entire crystal on your own would take so much power over thousands of years, It is nearly impossible. There have been myths of it done, but only myths. No, for you to create the crystal you have to use the force to activate this machine where it can speed up the process of natural occurring crystals, by your force powers. And in doing so, you create a different crystal that can have different properties that none other may have."

I walked infront of the large machine still looking at him. "I once had a red lightsaber that was made with a simple Synth-crystal. Just a plain one that my father had created long ago. I have made two in the past. The white sabers that I carry are a testament to that. Now as for my blue one, That is a different matter all together. Still this may take you a day if you do it sloppy, or it may take you an entire week. Just make sure that you do it right. I will now leave you to figure this out on your own."

I walked past the man in the dark robes and I spoke as I turned around. "To get the best connection with the crystal, You must do it all in one sitting. Learn to sustain yourself in the force, and you can do it I know you can, Then you could stay here for weeks if need be. Take your time..... Darth."

I walked out and shut the door behind me to not let anything disturb him.

Sadrion stared at the machine for a good twenty minutes, still utterly confused by it. Even Xardus, who was now watching, had stopped fighting to study it. For the first time since Sadrion's release, the two spirits were at peace with each other, if only for a moment. Sitting down, Sadrion looked up at it and reached out with the force. He realized, however, that he couldn't do this without the help of Xardus. He would have to give him some lineage. "Very well, Xardus. Give it your best." The other was silent for a minute, still broken from the destruction of his father's lightsaber. He was but a slave, unable to do anything without permission.

From within his mind, Xardus submitted once more. Extending his will toward the device, he let his own energy flow through. It was unlike anything either of the two had ever felt before. Fulfilling, yet restricted. While Xardus gave energy, Sadrion fueled him by gathering dark side hatred and anger to feed on. Slowly, the two felt centuries pass for the crystal that was now beginning to mend inside. His eyes closed, Sadrion grinned. "Yes... He's doing it..."

Once I had closed the door to the room that he was in. I walked over to the throne. I knew this place like the back of my hand. When I had first made the Rebel alliance with Kodiak, I had come here often to seek within myself. Even then, I explored all around here. It had taken me what seemed hours, but was really weeks to explore the entire place. The throne that sat in the center of the Temple was made of Obsidian. A black rock that was known to be lightsaber resistant. Even then, it looked dark and almost secluded from the rest of the bronze room that surrounded me.

I walked over to the Throne a Black Night and sat down. As much as I may have not wanted to. I had to for the sake of Xardus. What he didn't know was that when I had first taken the Lightsaber, I hid it in the fold of my robe that was exposed from my armor. The saber that I had handed to him, was an exact copy made purely from the force. A phantom of the real blade. Opening the folds of my robe, I pulled out the Saber that once belonged to Xardus' Father. Using the force, I called within my self the Dark heart that I would dare never let take control of my body again. Calling it by name did I speak to it with in my mind.

"Dark Heart of my soul, I call to you only once to open the hidden room where a Lord had once been. I ask that you only wake up from the slumber that I had forced you into, to help me in converting another." Very quiet was my mind. it seemed to go on forever until I shivered with a voice and a presence entering my head, pushing to try and take control once more. "I hear you call White Soul, Only do you jeopardize your life by allowing my presence come to you. I will open on one condition." I let the words sear into my mind. Wondering what the only condition that the dark essence wanted. "I want your soul, whenever I feel like it, to claim once I wake."

It had been a few days since the beginning of the process. Xardus had steadily fed all of his power and being into the crystal, and this had begun to give it a strange effect. It wasn't purely dark, but not purely light either. The tiny formation that had started glowed a soft yellow, as a blend of the two souls. An odd phenomenon, surely. Sadrion was getting restless. He wanted his lightsaber immediately, but Xardus forced him to have patience. As he had told his dark spirit, the longer one spent with the crystal, the more powerful it became, though he could only keep it up for another few days. Any longer and both would be completely drained of energy.

For three days after that conversation with the Dark Heart, I had thought about what I was to do, would I hide it here, or keep it to myself. With the other lightsaber still in my hands I had taken some time to continue my life existence without food or water. Even so, I still debated if I wanted to even chance it. On that day I had not said another word to the beast in me, I simply ended the conversation. Over these three days, I could feel the build up of power in the room that Xardus was in. That said, I had also felt a build up outside. It was me.

I didn't want to do it, But this was my life. Living on the edge of darkness and light's brilliance. Slowly I walked to the throne once more. Digging as deep as I had once more. I had thought of a way for me to keep my life if the beast had ever awaken. and it may just work. Sitting down in the throne of black once more. I spoke within my mind. "I accept your terms beast, I have one of my own for you to hear. When you awake, You need control of the body, and since it has been so long since you had control of the body, You need a navigator and someone to fill you in of the past that I have done while you were asleep."

My head was silent for a time. I had looked at the time on my Hud to see that almost 17 hours had passed since I had sent that message to him. Only then did it speak back to me. "I accept Lighthearted Shaw. Know that when I take it over, You will never expect it. Watch yourself until then Darren Shaw, The White Knight." I chuckled as he mentioned the name that I once took. and answered him in return. "That was forever ago Dark Heart, for I am a Master of the force now. I am not to be simply trifled with like I once was when fighting The betrayer of Hope. Watch yourself old one, For I will fight for my soul."

"I expect you to....... Master Shaw." I smiled and watched as the hidden door for the chair opened between my legs. Inside sat a hilt that I thought I would never see again. My fathers Sith saber. Picking it up I replaced it with Xardus' fathers saber. The hilt was passed down my family line for generations. The crystal ever changing back and forth. Once the day came for my Dark heart to Rule, I needed a saber for him to use rather than my Fathers Jedi lightsaber. That was true to my heart, and never to be used by the Dark. Activating the blade as the hidden box folded back into the chair, The Crimson saber hummed in the dimness of the room.
