Home Sweet Home (Kixi)

Kixi bowed to her Master Coci in acknowledgement after she demonstrated that she too had a purple bladed sabre, and also after her words of caution and advice regarding the relics in question. After wishing both her and her Master George the best of luck in their what would surely be a daring and dangerous mission, she bowed to them both and left.

"Master we have the urgent matter now to attempt a rescue mission for Nena's parents. Personally I believe they have been captured and we have little hope, yet I feel obligated to do this so Nena knows the truth. Master, I see the way the child looks at me in the eye. She understands to a certain degree what we did for her, and although you battled that Sith that night, she remembers vividly how I fought those other 6 attackers whilst I was taking her to your ship. I see it in her eyes when she looks at me. I want her to know the truth thus why we must go back."

Kixi was of course still holding baby Nena as she spoke. The child felt so much at peace in her arms that Kixi wished she could hold her forever.

"We need to find her a caretaker for now. Obviously Nena cannot come on the mission with us. Speaking of which, I wish to take several members of my crew along. In particular Braj'tec, Zasalamel and Kes. All are worthy warriors and will assist us well."

Then Kixi paused a moment before changing her mind slightly.

"Actually we can't bring Zasalamel. He has partial sensitivity to the Force, yet doesn't know how he uses it sometimes. He'll give us away to the Sith as they'll detect him. Anyway I can work it out before we depart. Who will you see best right now to take Nena from us?"

George bowed as Master Coci left. Kixi quickly turned to George, expressing her views on another mission to Glee. As much as he agreed with Kixi, her plan was rash. It seemed to be more all guns blazing than anything else. And once again, as much as he would like to destroy all the Sith on the planet. It was unlikely and unreasonable. They needed a new plan. One that didn't involve a straight up fight. "Kixi remember, as much as this is a rescue mission it is also a mission of stealth. We can take your warriors, but they must be able to follow orders, even if they aren't given directly from you." He paused as he looked at little Nena. He wanted to get her parents out so badly, but the worst continued to flood his mind.

"Nena can stay here on Voss. I know some of the older Jedi still dedicate their lives to the Coalition, she will be safe with them." He finished as he turned to leave the room, motioning for Kixi and Nena to follow. It was like they were one, Kixi held Nena and it looked like she felt at home. Leaving her so soon seemed harsh, but it would be their best opportunity to find her parents, alive.

"You misunderstand me Master. Even with a significantly powerful ship, it's not near enough to take on an entire planet full of Sith. That part is obvious."

Kixi would say as she followed George with baby Nena.

"I fully intend to sneak in there again. I just want to bring the extra people for the extra backup. Also the two crew members in question make for a more convincing lot of bounty hunters or the like. And they won't have to hide themselves from the Force, as they are not Force sensitive like us. I was proposing to send them in deep into enemy territory while we hold back, minimising our chances of being defected by the Sith......again."

Kixi briefly paused as she could tell Nena was hungry and would soon begin crying again to make that fact known.

"Nena needs to eat Master."

Kixi turned to look at her master momentarily as they walked and then turned away again facing forward.

"Those two are exceptionally skilful without the Force. If I don't use the Force, I would be no match for either. That's a bit unfortunate in regards to one of them but we'll save that discussion for another time Master."

Kixi's tone suddenly became very negative as she spoke the last part of that sentence, referring to her female assassin crew member Kes En'jusek. Yet she was perfect for this mission. A spy and an assassin teamed up with the brute and powerful strength of the experienced Braj'tec Qarr. It would sure increase their chances of success in at least getting in and out alive. However the matter of actually finding Nena's parents alive was a totally different matter.

"That is fair enough, I just wanted to make sure you understood." He replied as Kixi explained her idea. It wasn't a bad one by any means. This mission was going to be far more dangerous than the last. After already getting through and escaping their grasp once the Sith would not easily lie down. But it was time to prepare for the mission at hand.

But not before feeding the young one. As they headed off to get the baby some food before it started crying Kixi spoke about her team. She seemed distracted, unhappy. Something of the sort as she mentioned one, the female George believed. "It is true though that it would strengthen our stance as bounty hunters. And with neither of them being force sensitive it makes it a bit easier. But be sure to remember, minimal engagement with the Sith. No mater how strong your team is I doubt they are any match for the Sith lords that live in Glee." He finished as they rounded the corner into a little store.

George bought some baby food for the little one and motioned for Kixi to pass Nena over so he could feed her. Well hopefully. Kixi and Nena had been inseparable since they returned to Voss. "Once we've done this we'll get prepared to leave." George said waiting for Kixi.

As the two walked the hallways to where they were taking Nena, Kixi further spoke of the mission.

"We can't take your ship again Master. The Sith would remember it from my rescuing you during your duel with that Sith warrior. Instead I suggest we take Kes' ship. It's a Mandalorian Kom'rk-class fighter/transport."

Kixi paused and laughed momentarily, as she said that with her voice also momentarily sounding high pitched as she resumed speaking.

"A perfect ship for a group of bounty hunters to rock up in to join the party of ill fated evil Sith sympathisers."

She cleared her voice and returned to her serious tone again.

"It's big enough to house 4 people easily, plus a few more if need be. It's reasonably fast and packs some punch should we run into some unexpected trouble."

Kixi would once again shift her tone to one of sarcasm as she finished off.

"And given trouble generally finds us, rather than we find it, I think the latter will most definitely be on the cards Master."

Kixi was becoming quite a capable Jedi and her plan was good. Using a different ship to enter Glee would definitely throw off suspicion, plus the bonus of extra weapons can't ever hurt. "Alright lets make this happen." George replied. It was finally time to put the plan in motion.

"Excellent Master. I'm glad that you are in agreement with me. Now let's make sure Nena is taken care of first, and we should probably get something to eat ourselves for while we prep for the mission."

The 2 continued to walk, Kixi holding baby Nena. Eventually Nena was taken to her caretakers. It was quite emotional for both master and padawan to let her go, especially for Kixi who had become quite attached to her.

"It's okay little one, Aunty Kixi will return before you know it."

Kixi would say to Nena as she cuddled her a little after handing her over. She hoped to be back, as her upcoming mission would be dangerous, extremely dangerous. Yet it did not worry her at all. After all she was a Jedi, and for Jedi that was the life they had chosen to live. Nena looked at Kixi as she began walking away with her master and Kixi looked back. She had a good feeling she would make it to see her again, however the question of finding her parents would be a completely different matter altogether.
