Holodrama?

Hi everybody, Frisby here. First of all I want to say I've had a fantastic experience so far with the site. everyone's been cordial with me and I will definitely recommend this site to others.

Now, while I was watching TV the day before I thought of an idea for an RP thread(s).

A holodrama to reenact the events of A New Hope. Now canon-wise we couldn't expect a camera or the like everywhere our heroes went, so naturally most of its word of mouth. So the players in the holodrama could ad lib to an extent, and we could fidget on appearances. In fact a modern audience could relate more to them if they were well-known, sort of a Modern twist so to speak.

So this thread's a bit of an interest ,(Or casting call) slash a place where I could get some of the kinks out of the idea slash to see if anyone else has thought of it.

Well, given Luke is the youngest character in the original trilogy, I'm thinking that would be the closest fit if that's ok.

Hmm, you're distinguished enough so I guess you can play him. Do you have any personal ideas for the suit?

Sure. When I get the time I'll set up casting threads for the roles not claimed here.

Maybe, but you'll need a few aesthetic adjustments... *walks forward creepily while carrying a wrench.* :lol: In all seriousness, since I'm not going to much for historical accuracy you could re-imagine the role. But its up to you.

Also, I'm thinking I'm going to have to create an NPC to direct it as Frisby's.... y'know. Besides, he'll be busy. I'm planning on him bursting into the casting looking like this.

Oh yes I can see it now, "But sir, the Imperial Star Destroyer is far more advanced that this freighter. The possibility of such a victory is incredibly small... let's do it!"

*Gasp!* A movie?!? I'd love to help with a movie! I could play the role of Ben Kenobi! Well, technically, with my magic, I could play ANY ROLE. But that's beside the point. I could also help with the setting, the makeup, the special effects, although my friend Mordecai Stryker might prefer to handle that. OOOH, this is SO exciting!
