Discussion Hive Minds/Weird Alien Stuff

Okay, I have been replaying Starcraft 2 in my spare time and I'm currently knee-deep in Heart of the Swarm. And, obviously me being the edge lord that I am, I really love a good hive mind/creepy species that's a little too sentient to be as beastly as it is. So I decided to drop this here and see if anyone is doing weird alien stuff or has any ideas for something like that! I'm not the best when it comes to critters so I don't know of any hive minds off the top of my head.

Basically if you have any ideas, suggestions, or just want to pop in and support my interest in weird alien hive mind stuff, feel free to tag or message me anytime!

Kiltiks are one of the more sentient hive minds in star wars... in terms of danger a strong enough mind can influence the entire species and all of the hive like the dark nest crisis.

Interesting, definitely the classic creepy bug look. I can't seem to find much information on them other than that the Cathar apparently like trying to make them extinct but they're something I'll look into!
