Other Space Kaiden

Better than other-other space Kaiden
Life of the Founder
Ronin was born into the Fel family, who largely relocated to Corellia during the Gulag Plague incident. The family was still respected as “nobles” on the planet, despite the harsh times brought upon by the 300 year darkness. During his youth, Ronin was taught to be quick with his words but never hasty and to talk with a silver tongue; a talent that came natural to him. Many times, during his young age, Ronin found himself talking his way out of trouble and sticky situations on Corellia with his childhood friend Cain.

Even with his great talents in diplomacy, his family still urged him to join the Corellian Defense Force as a show of his honor and as a continuation of Fel tradition. Therefore, at the age of 17, Ronin signed onto the CDF and began his thirty-year career as a soldier with his friend Cain. During his first days of boot camp, Ronin proved himself a brilliant and charismatic leader which earned him the rank of squad leader. Throughout the entirety of basic training, Ronin would maintain his position and would be looked up to by his fellow cadets as well as being a close friend due to his friendly and free going nature outside of professional situations.

During his time in boot camp, he would suffer a terrible accident when a fellow cadet and friend, Cain, accidently set off a thermal detonator prematurely during an explosives safety and usage exercise. The explosion riddled Ronin, who was watching at the time, with tiny bits of shrapnel that mostly impacted his right side. Cain was killed in the explosion and Ronin was severely injured and scared on the right side of his torso. While his life was saved, Ronin would never be the same. His men would describe him as deeply depressed and very impersonal, a trait that never left him.

After his basic training was completed, Ronin quickly found himself attending officer school. He would excel, as he had in basic training, and find himself serving as a lieutenant of the CDF almost right out of basic training. While on leave, Ronin was known to drink heavily and keep to himself. Despite this, however, he would meet a woman by the name of Malisa Jova who he would find an uncanny attraction to. After five months of their relationship, Malisa accidently became pregnant.

Ronin loved the girl, but he was not ready to bare a child with her. However, to preserve his families honor, he married Malisa and brought about another branch into the Fel family tree. His father and mother would forever look down on him for ever putting the family name in jeopardy and this lead Ronin to further indulge himself into his military career. Malisa would rarely see him more than a few times a month and his son would see him even less. Ronin, out of guilt and trauma could not face his family or Malisa.

Despite this falling out, Malisa did not dare divorce her husband, for she knew that the Fel family was her son’s best chance at a good life. Ronin would go on serving in the CDF, becoming the Supreme Commander of the CDF forces and holding the position for years before the reign of the Omega Protectorate.

Years later, Malisa died of a disease not documented by the Darkness. Ronin would again fall into depression, despite the relationship with his wife. He would try to comfort his son, but fail, and seeing as there was no mending the relationship with his son, retired from the military to live in solitude at the age of 47.

By the time the Omega Protectorate came into power, Ronin’s relationship with his son had ill improved. Tired of living a useless life, Ronin left Omega space to travel to Coruscant. It was here that he tried to join the Jedi Order so that he may improve his untrained force skills, but was denied due to his age and radical views. Angry, Ronin returned to Corellia where he learned that his parents had died during his absence.

Rocked by the realization that his life was amounting to nothing, Ronin set out to create a nation that would bring his family name honor. Taking his reluctant son with him, Ronin set off for the unknown regions to see to the rise of the once glorious Fel Empire.

First Steps to Glory

In the outer rim, Ronin found himself meeting with various planetary leaders from outer rim territories with the most prominent being those on Vassek. The politics were harsh and Ronin spent fortunes to better the way of life on these outer rim planets so that he could gain the support of the local politicians. After months of diplomatic talks, things came to a head with the televising of a meeting of Ronin with the politicians of Vassek where he called to all the supporters of his family and urged them to travel to Vassek in order to purge General Grevious's old castle of dark energies. Ronin hoped that purging the dark elements from the castle would finally prove to Vassek's leaders that he was worthy of leading a new Empire and that the show of his charisma would win them over for good.

It was a few weeks after Ronin's address that he prepared to meet all the newcomers outside of Grevious's Castle on one of the moon's of Vassek. Slowly the supporters arrived to meet with Ronin in his personal corvette where the organization and goals of the new Imperium were discussed. After the supporters showed their collective support and pledged to defend the new Imperium, Ronin officially declared himself the Imperator of the New Fel Imperium and it was declared that all those present would be known as founders of the Imperium (Djonas Vile, Davin, Jared Starchaser, Veino Garn) and Roning would forever be known as its father.

The First Capital and Mucha do About Government

After Ronin had cleansed the temple of Grevious, with the help of his new followers, the leaders of Vassek and multiple nearby systems pledged their support and even lent large portions of their Planetary Defense Forces to the growing Royal Stormtrooper Corp. With this new support, Grevious's castle was renovated to accommodate the Fel Imperator and offer a headquarters for the growing empire in general. Even with this growth, however, much still needed to be done before the Imperium was ready to break out big across the galaxy. Ronin would spend the following weeks meeting with the Republic, Omega Protectorate, Mandolorians and CIS to be sure that the Fel would have a solid group of allies when the time came. While he secured the alliances with the four powers, Ronin also focused on organizing the military into a force to be reckoned with.

At a secret meeting in the Fel Capital, Ronin established the Royal Stomtrooper Corp, Fel Naval Legion and the Imperial Knights with the signing of a bill that would be voted upon by the Outer Rim planets in allegiance to the Fel. The bill would place Davin as the head of the Fel Imperial Navy and leave Ronin as the leader of both the Army and Imperial Knights until further notice. In the months that followed, the Fel Military would be organized with new production contracts and the usage of modified, but ancient, Imperial ships.

A Call to War

Shortly after the Republic and Fel had settled on an alliance, the Republic requested the assistance of the Fel Imperium in the invasion of Sith Space. The plan was for the Fel forces to meet the Republic second wave on Manaan, but when Ronin and his fleet arrive they found that the Republic planet was under Sith assault. Ronin immediately ordered all hands to battle stations and deployed Royal Stormtroopers onto the planet. Wanting to prove himself, Ronin joined the Fel forces on the ground while Davin took control of the Fel fleets high above the planet. Upon arrival onto the planet, the Fel forces found that the Sith had a much stronger presence than first realized and they moved to secure the city's center.

During the battle, Ronin was severely injured by a Sith Knight and was on the verge of death. With the help of Commander Zrash, the Imperator was rescued and evacuated from the planet on a gunship equipped with a hyperdrive. As soon as the Imperator was secured, the Fel retreated from battle to regroup on Vassek. The Imperator survived, thanks to the Republic's donation of Kolca to the Imperium.

The New Plan and the Sith Rebellions

Upon returning to consciousness, Ronin found himself much more motivated to destroy the Empire. Observing the Sith closely, he realized that the Empire was overextended, thanks to a two fronted war. Ronin seized this opportunity and sent CELL operatives throughout Sector I of Sith space to begin rousing the populations in the absence of Imperial armies. Within days, the Empire was flooding with angry rebels who began to form resistance cells with the guidance of Fel special forces. After finally coming out of his seclusion, Ronin notified the Imperium of his plot to take the Sith worlds from under the Sith's nose. Gathering all the ships and men he could, Ronin set out for Bastion while the Sith were still unprepared.

With the help of resistance cells on Helska and Bastion, Ronin was able to establish dominance over the two planets and gained Gallos through the deployment of colonizers. Asking for the forgiveness of Vassek and other outer rim territories, Ronin announced to the galaxy that Bastion would now serve as the seat of Fel power. Vassek showed spite, of course, but many of the soldiers believed in Ronin's cause and thus stayed in his leadership. Regardless of some desertion, the ranks of the Fel military swelled with ex-slaves and angry Sith soldiers who pledged their support to their Imperator. From the ranks of men that still existed, Ronin officially organized the Phoenix Legion which would serve as the Fel equivalent of the 501st Legion.

With the fires of rebellion burning all over Sith Space, Ronin and his newly staffed Imperium were ready for true war...
