There a minor faction group of Jedi out there focused on pacifism and being what Jedi were really supposed to be instead of the more militant types? I know the Silvers technically embody both, but I'm looking for a more in depth, truly dedicated geoup of lightsiders who want to help people and do no harm.

I think that might simply be a factor of the nature of roleplay. The big war threads are the easiest way to get involved thus it's easier to flesh out a character in a war thread... so you put it in a war.
It might be cool to see a pacifist though
Not 100% pacifist, but close. Barrien isn't out to kill for any reason, but he might slap your wrist pretty hard for being naughty.
