Dantooine was known to be a peaceful, farmland world, having some ties to the Jedi in the past but none that were present. Lily thought it would be a good spot to enjoy some time away from the High Republic, wander through the rolling hills and take in some fresh air. It was a good chance to see how things work on the far opposite side of the galaxy and a location free from faction ties, at least for now. A chance to let her thoughts wander and if she felt the desire, even go explore ruins that were tied to the Jedi. See how things were thousands of years ago. Lily was enjoying the crisp morning air, it was warm due to the late spring climate but there was still a slight chill from the breeze that didn't make things feel too humid currently. Her hike was going well, it was several miles at this point. She wasn't working too much of a sweat but seeing the green hills and the noise of animals roaming around.

There was a sense of idyllic-ness to it all.

Adjusting to being newly single was not as easy as Lily thought it would be. She was feeling a new loneliness that wasn't something that the Echani had thought about until now. Lily had never thought that she was someone that would crave the comfort of having someone around all the time, but not having that now. Lily could understand more why people jumped from one relationship straight into the next one. There was an addicting sense of needing to be loved. "Really demonstrates how much mother loved father if she never moved on after all these years, I suppose..." Lily thought aloud to herself as she continued walking.

Then she paused and looked around, figuring out where she was.

"Hmmm... This is bad... Really should have brought a map or something with me... Was the town that way...?" Lily paused, pursing her lips as she struggled to remember which direction she needed to head back in. One would have assumed a straight line, but Lily knew for certain that she didn't walk in a straight line to get where she was. "Really let myself get distracted on this one." She sighed, clearly her thoughts were overwhelming everything else out as she frowned to herself and crossed her arms over her chest.

No, she could work this out. Right? She could get back to her ship... Right?

Dantooine. An unremarkable planet out in the middle of this vast galaxy. Good for farmland but not much else. Not to mention a neutral world so to speak. Well at least neutral enough to Irulan and that of Sikarra. Irulan had come here to begin personally scoping out the planet in hopes of what possible operations could she set up here. The vast rolling hills and valleys of Dantooine could do with a possible outpost out here. Where Sikarran smugglers can operate from if need be. But to properly survey the planet, Irulan would need to head out to the more remote areas and not stick to the towns and villages.

Irulan along with two servants had elected to go on a small trek out into the outer edges of the town they were staying at. Her servants of course were carrying the necessary supplies and Irulan herself was holding a small scanner to begin mapping out the local area. On the scanner, green dots marked points of possible outpost locations while red spots marked unoptimal ones. In truth Irulan had been so engossed in this data collecing that she did not hear her servants call out to her.

With a perhaps ungraceful and comedic timing, she bumped into the Echani woman causing herself to fall onto the floor. The scanner fell out of her hand and Irulan's servants rushed to her. "Highness! Are you alright?" one of them asked.

Irulan brushed herself off, simply nodding "Yes..I am. Ugh this dress though is dirty unfortunately." Then she turned to Lily. giving a small smile at the woman. "My sincere apologies. clumsy me." she said in an elegant tone.

Lily was scanning the horizons around here, trying to see what looked familiar and where the settlement could be. She hadn't walked far enough to have it disappear from her sight, though with the hills and the aimless wandering. It could have very possibly hidden itself behind a hill that Lily had climbed over. Tapping her foot a little nervously, she felt someone bumping into her and blinked in surprise since she hadn't expected to walk by anyone out here. It was fairly remote and certainly an easy location to get lost.

"Highness?" Lily muttered to herself, even more strange for there to be nobility to be out this way, but seeing the dress not suited for hiking and the way that this royalty spoke and held herself, Lily was not unsurprised that this was someone of royalty. But it was surprising to see them out here. "It is all okay, I am sorry to hear about your dress though. I did not know that Dantooine had royalty?"

The Echani was falsely assuming that any royalty out here would be native to the world, it seemed far to random a setting for an off-world royal family member to come visit. "Lily Decoria, pleasure to meet you." Lily gave a small bow as she politely introduced herself to the other woman. Offering a polite but warm smile to her lips.

Irulan looked at the Echani woman up and down for a moment as if she was examining her. Her analytical mind racing to try and find any identifying marker to an organization or a faction. But no..nothing. Just an outfit meant for the outdoors. Irulan did relax slightly, as she gave a small smile at the apology. At least the other person was kind enough to offer an apology. She then would give a dismissive wave at the comment about Dantooine having royalty.

"As far as I know, this planet has no royalty. No I am from Sikarra. A trading world. I came here to see if I can forge a trade relation with a couple of towns on this planet. Unfortunately the town I am staying at needs more time to reach a decision. They suggested I go on an exploration of the outskirts, until they reach one. Which..." Irulan gestures to the wilderness "This planet is much more verdant and green compared to my home world."

It was a little white lie. Sure Irulan did talk to the various locals about trading and such But her true purpose was looking for a spot to construct a smuggler's outpost for her spice trade. Alas, seems such a thing is temporarily paused now that someone else is out here in the periphery of civilization. "Princess Irulan Al-Zahir, Heriess ti the Queendom of Sikarra. A pleasure to meet you Miss Lily, Are you by chance a nature lover? Judging by your outfit, you came here equipped to handle this better than I."

Lily had no reference to what Sikarra was like or what they were traders in. It was the first time hearing of such a planet existing though she was curious that someone would come to Dantooine in search of traders to connect with. Felt very much like the queen of her home world, searching personally for ways to better life back on Eshan. Lily was impressed that another member of royalty was willing to do such efforts, Lily was never sure how royalty worked outside of Eshan. Others seemed to approach it very differently and in her mind, strangely. It was not always the strongest or the most capable that led.

Which just didn't seem right.

There was a sense that Lily had that something was not completely honest with this princess. Either a lie by omission or just not a full picture of what was being said. However, Lily didn't call it out, while she was very capable at reading people and noting the ways that people moved when lying and being honest. It was not a science and it unnerved many when she was more brazen in her calling out of lies in the past. Made others feel too seen, which Lily didn't really understand but had to learn to respect. Not everyone wished to communicate so honestly through movement like Lily did.

"I must admit, I have not head of Sikarra, I am sure it is a lovely place." Lily gave a polite smile as she bowed respectfully. "Not necessarily, it is more just an ideal location to clear one's mind of thoughts and feelings. As for the attire, I planned to be out on this hike and always try to be as prepared as possible when I go out." Lily continued to smile.

"Hopefully the town provides the answers that you seek soon, princess."

There was a slight perhaps pause or hesistation in Irulan's movements when Lily mentioned she had not heard of Sikarra. It looked as if Irulan was holding back some small annoyance at that. It was not the fault of Lily though. Making Sikarra more relevant to the galaxy has always been her personal ambition of hers. This was just another reminder that she needed to ensure that the succeeds in this ambition. So Sikarra will not longer remain a planet that no one knows about. Irulan stood there as then she now had a much more proper look at Lily, her purple eyes looking at the toned muscles of the woman before her.

"You have the phyisque of a warrior." Irulan complimented as her servants brushed the last of the dust off her dress. One of them would pull out a small perfume bottle and gently spray some onto Irulan to ensure the Princess didnt lose her heavenly scent. "As for Sikarra, it is alright if you had not heard of my homeworld. Many wrongfully think its some mid-rim backwater but they just never experienced Sikarra to its full beauty. I would be more than happy to tell you more about my home."

Irulan gave a small smile "I've also been told by my people that I am quite the great listener. I am not sure what is troubling you Lily, but perhaps an outside perspective can be beneficial to help sort out your feelings and thoughts. And I would like to think I am pleasant company." A chuckle "But if you wish to be alone and think, I can be on my way. Continue my own nature appreciation trek."

Lily laughed softly at the comment about her physique being that of a warrior's. "Well, given I am an Echani, looking anything other than a warrior would be a grave disservice to my people." A slight joke but there was also some earnestness with that. She knew that being a warrior was crucial for her family to maintain the high standing that they upheld within the Echani society. Her developing connection with the queen was another important factor in that as well. But that was still very new and very uncertain.

Seeing the perfume bottle being sprayed, Lily went relieved to be upwind of the spraying. She was not sure her senses could handle anything too overwhelming like strong perfume this morning. Especially when she didn't know what the scent would be. Too many times Lily had to apologise for coughing because a scent was too strong. "It a shame that people do not see beyond first impressions of a world. Only scratching at a surface level. I have been unfortunate in just not exploring much of the galaxy, my work has me focused on other priorities than exploration. But I am more than happy to learn more of your home if you wish to share."

When Irulan mentioned that she was a great listener, Lily felt herself pause, she was not sure that she was comfortable divulging everything to a stranger. "Perhaps a discussion to have another time. It is personal and not appropriate for a first meeting between two people." Lily gave a respectful and polite smile, she was well versed in what was appropriate to discuss with a member of royalty and when to speak. "However, I do not feel adverse to conversing more if you wish. Conversation is always nice to have, even if it won't solve anything."

Not wishing to make Irulan feel dismissed or rejected in being company with Lily for this hike.

Irulan gave a curious look at Lily. There wasn't much known about the Echani to Irulan, or perhaps to Sikarra in general. There just wasnt a need for the spice trade to go out to their home just yet. Could be a chance to learn more about the Echani and see if Sikarra could begin to trade with their people. Plus there was always a need to explain how Sikarra is and what is it they do. Word of mouth and praise is always good.

"Then by all means, Lily. Lead the way. I shall begin to tell you about Sikarra a bit. It will help understand where I am coming from and why one would find herself away from her homeworld." Irulan spoke gracefully as she would follow Lily to wherever she planned on hiking to. The servants seemingly followed Irulan, walking in sync with her and each other. Irulan moved as if she was gliding upon the air, common amongst nobility to walk gracefully as if their presence was meant to be otherworldly.

"An overview perhaps? Sikarra wasnt originally meant to be a Hapan colony, in fact Sikarra was meant to be just another uncharted world in this galaxt of ours. My forebearers boarded ships to another world but there was a hyperspace malfunction for the colony fleet. It spat them out onto Sikarra rather than the garden world they were promised. My world is a harsh one, nearly covered in desert, mountains and caves. Many of the original suvivors did not make it, but just enough survived to create a city for us to live."
Irulan spoke of her history fondly. "By time we established contact with the wider galaxy, we were too culturally different from our Hapan cousins back home. So now we go our own path, doing our best to survive out in this galaxy."

Lily did not march in a direction immediately, she was still a little lost on where she had been intending to head or return to the location where she had come from. The Echani did not convey any language of lost or confusion on where to start, just merely taking her time. She was not one for showing her weaknesses in directions and map readings. Looking at the sunlight, seeing where the sun for Dantooine might be gave a rough estimate of which of four directions she could take. Opting to merely backtrack a little and just hope to find the village where she had come from seemed most optimal, especially since they were likely to have a speeder for Irulan as well in case she needed to return back to her meeting.

"Interesting. What cultural changes happened within your society to cause such significant difference to the Hapan people?" Lily had some understanding of the Hapan culture. It was not one that she was in agreement with, there was too much focus on what they considered to be beauty standards and a focus on other priorities in society that Lily did not think were tolerable. Though it was another matriarchal society, it was one that did not operate like the society that Lily had back on Eshan.

Thinking a little on her home, "perhaps something similar to how the Thyrsians differed from us although they were once very similar." Lily mentioned, wondering if something culturally similar happened to Irulan's people. A desert planet was not something that was unfamiliar to the galaxy as a place where people settle. Tatooine and Jakku were both desert planets. Lily shuddered at the idea of Jakku. Spending time at the enclave on Jakku before coming to Naboo, Lily realised she was not one for desert hot worlds. They were far too hot of a climate for the Jedi Knight to feel comfortable.
