In the past two weeks, Serendipity’s isolated, quiet life had been ripped away from her. After the discovery of a bio toxin canister in a sink hole north of her home by herself and fellow Scientist @Ian Milànhttp://starwarsrp.net/user/6253-ian-milàn/, the events that immediately followed, devastated her. Her father, had disappeared, leaving Seren and her mother without a word or explanation. This action had confirmed his guilt in the act of sabotage to contaminate the water supplies in order for his failing company to make profit once more.

Seren and her mother had to face all enquires surrounding the investigation in his stead which has taken a toll on her mother’s health both mental and physical. The local authorities had left nothing to chance and had locked down all facilities and properties belonging to the company, including Seren’s farm. Seren and her mother were cleared of all involvement, but apart from a few personal belonging include a ship, the two woman have lost everything.

Seren had grown numb to the situation, all her emotions spent and she just wanted to get away from her beloved home planet for a while and clear the head and body. She wanted to spend some time alone in a place full of life and not know to her. She also needs to think. It was time to make a plan for her future, a direction of her own making.

Laekia, a planet of beauty and great forests, much there to explore and sample and sketch. She never forgets to bring her sketch pad. After a day hiking within the forest, she decided it was time to find a suitable camp site for the night. Pushing forward, she found a clearing with a small pool of water, and cooling to the physical senses. Placing her pack down she unclip her tent and began to set it up by the pool.

It was not uncommon for him to wander this forest for the simple fact was that this was where he spent most of his time when duty did not require him to be elsewhere - and it often did require just that, leaving him to get the most out of what time he had in the forest where his cabin resided, entrenched in mostly placid, steadfast nature. It was in places like these where the Force felt just a little stronger from all the life that filled it, but it was not nearly so normal that any other Force-blessed sapient life-form's presence in this forest ran parallel to his own.

He had felt one that stood out from the locals that came and went from the forest, and had idly tracked their movements by way of the Force, while going about the simple work of his day. It was not until this particular individual had started to move a little less that the ginger master thought it pertinent to go... investigate.

It was hardly surprising that his investigations lead him to a tent jiving to and fro as a... well, now he could see it was a woman setting up the tent, not that such a detail was of any consequence, but he smiled in a small, fond way out of reaction at such a simple way of being. It was something he well understood. After a moment or two where he remained unnoticed, he finally spoke.

"I do not get many campers so near my cabin," he said calmly and softly, but with enough volume that she might hear, "and I have always wondered why that was."

But not with any amount of concern. Too many campers would infringe on the peace he had found by purposely setting himself up so deep into the forest, which would be somewhat unfortunate.

Although most of her concentration was focused on the construction of her tent, Seren felt the prickling sensation on the back of her neck, as if she was being watched. She had felt this feeling before and had put it down to her intuition, never had she realised it was the Force. Her head had lifted from time to time to look in the direction of the feeling but would find nothing, save for some of the local avian casting their gaze toward her from the branch of a tree.

Such is the way of the force for her, little recognised and little trained except for what she had discovered on her own and even then lacked the understanding or ability to forward such talents. However, her abilities with plants had proven most useful over her young adult life and through her years of education in botany and beyond to her research on her farm. The thought of it filling her heart with a sense of loss as well as the more personal losses.

However, she has determine to rebuild that part of her life and further it beyond even her parents ambitions or dreams. Seren now set to determine her own path through all means possible.

She stood tall with hands on her hips with a pleased look on her face as the tent stood proud within the clearing by the waters. When suddenly her senses peaked once more and this time more immediate. Her head turned as the man began to speak.

"I can only suppose it is because of the remoteness because this place is beautiful", she replied as his presence became known to her. The man looked to be in his late thirties but in this galaxy it is always a supposition, built tall and fit with a mop of red hair. A kind and handsome face yet Seren noted a strong degree of age of experience cut within the small lines around his eyes.

She offered him a smile, sensing no ill intent. "Have I trespassed on your land?, my apologies if I have transgressed", having realised she might have inadvertently do so.
