Appearance: As current High King of Midvinter, Beorlund often wears a luxurious fur-coat and a fur-trimmed hat to cover up his bald spot. He likes wearing expensive jewelry of all kinds, be it rings, necklaces, earrings. His hair is flowing and gray, as is his beard, and his eyes are of a faint green colour, faded with his old age. He is a portly man, seldom seen leaving what he calls 'his palace'.
Personality: Arrogant and selfish, yet methodical and scheeming.
Weapon of Choice: His charisma and intelligence.
Wealth: The wealthiest man on Midvinter, although his wealth is not measured in coins or credits, for they do not exist on Midvinter. Instead he's rich in trinkets and jewelry, expensive furniture and exotic food. He often demands tribute from his subjects if they wish to see him about matters of urgency.
Combat Function: Beorlund is not a warrior, and will never even think about getting his own hands dirty.

Other Notes: Seized the throne after Thrand's father passed away, despite having been his most trusted advisor before his death. He skillfully outmaneuvered the then-young Thrand using his silver tongue and his wealth to buy the loyalties of his peers, causing them to elect him as their High King. His first command was that the young prince be exiled from Midvinter. 50 years later and he's still on the throne, although the support from the people is dwindling fast. Rumours have begun to circulate that the exiled prince will return to challenge him one day.
