Hidden Secrets of an Old Master

[member="Adzatsmam"] [member="Stardust"]

Gray kept looking at the door through force sight as the Sith worked on draining energy out of the door. He could actually see it being removed from the door as he looked at it. It was amazing how that was happening and it made him curious about their force techniques. He would have to push that thought to the side though as the designs of the lock came into view. It was indeed complicated, but it was also mostly mechanical in nature so it could probably be manipulated to open up without interacting with the electronic component of it. He tried to reach out with the force to interact with them directly via telekinesis. This attempt was for not though as something about the door repelled his attempt.

Gray opened up his eyes for a moment and stopped using force sight. He thought about it for a moment then got an idea. He turned to the Sith leader and said, " Respect and trust." He opened up the bag of coins and pulled one out. He held it up with a smile then closed the bag back up. He got down cross legged on the floor and pulled out his lightsaber Whisper. He activated it and cut a small slice out of the coin before he deactivated it. He then put his arms over his legs with the coin and its sliver in one palm and his saber in the other. He closed his eyes and began to focus on the force once more. He looked through force sight once more as he used telekinesis to move the sliver into the lock and began to try to manipulate the inner workings of the lock with it. This method was not repelled like when he directly tried to use the force on it. He kept up the working on trying to unlatch every pin holding the door lock in place.

Stardust watched gray as she channeled through gray"hmmmm"she said watching as he was repelled and sat down with him as she put a hand in his shoulder as she focused the force watching the pieces move as she let a breath out

Hmmm I see what your doing gray veeery smart

Adzatsmam tilted his head and watched as Gray tried his hand, noticing it wasn't working. Truth be told, even he knew using the force on the door wouldn't work, although that was when the doors dark force wasn't lowered as much. But this new trick, he hadn't thought of before, or even if it could work, he didn't have the people with the skills to pull it off. The Kissai had all the force control and they were feeding on the dark energy, and the Zuguruk had all the mechanical knowledge but they didn't know where to start.

Adzatsmam spoke up, raising the attention of the Zuguruk, telling the Sith to try his idea once again. The Zuguruk agreed and got to work on the door. While the force user was picking the lock, the Zuguruk would splice at the lock, trying to loosen the pins and mechanisms. Being old might actually cause resistance.

But eventually through both efforts, there was a click, but this click sounded like a boulder dropping, the Dark Force utterly disappearing. Then, as if in sync, very heavy bolts begin to drop from inside the door into the floor, about sixteen heavy bolts could be heard. Then the ship door opened, splitting from the middle; top half up, and bottom half down. But it stopped opening as quickly as it started, only a crack opening.

Adzatsmam was prepared to applaud but it seemed a little more work was needed. He stepped forward, "Now Massassi turn," he grinned. The other Massassi walked with him and they all grabbed at the door and pulled, using their non-force influenced, but natural strength to pull the heavy doordown, and push it up.

Inside there were several ancient Sith items of little worth or use, a great luxurious bed, several odds and ends. But at the back, a vault door that looked like a safe built into the wall. It attracted more attention than anything, but it was not guarded by any force

Gray pulled the sliver of aurodium out of the lock when all of the tumblers finally slide out of their locked positions. He pulled it back to his hand then opened up his eyes. He was glad to see his idea worked on getting the door unlocked. He got up onto his feet as the sith began to pull on the heavy door. He put his saber hilt back in its loop and then pulled the bag of aurodium coins out. He opened it up and dumped the sliver and cut coin back into it before pulling the string. He put it back up as the door slowly but surely began to open up. Age had left it stiff in the hinges, so it was hard work for them to open it up.

Gray looked inside of the room after the door was wide open. He walked inside of it and whistled as he looked around. The room was one of luxury, the most ancient of it as well. The Stih Lord who had owned the ship must have been incredibly wealthy. He began to wonder why the sith had waited so long to try and open it back up. It seemed like the kind of place a tomb robber or fortune seeker would have wet dreams about. He said outloud to no one in particular, " This is amazing. How did this place stay locked up so long?" He eventually say the vault door against the wall, and frowned a bit. Seemed this job wasn't over or going to be any easier. Well seems they were earning their pay here, which wasn't such a bad thing.

She looked as it opened and awed as she could see barely in"hmmmm"she said and watched as they opened it fully

The sight greeted by her was amazing...there was so much history here even if it was just simple..beyond amazing

She looked around seeing the many objects and then the bed...it looked like no one had touched it for years...and probably wouldn't"amazin....much history..hmm hmm"she said and looked to the vault door

Adzatsmam looked inside and took some steps forward into the room. Quickly, the Zuguruk slipped in to look at the safe. Not to get to work, but admire the vault door. The Kissai peered into the room but saw an old book on a long and large dresser in front of the bed against the wall and became ecstatic, yelling at Adzatsmam. Adzatsmam closed in to see the book and they were both amazed. He looked over to one of the Massassi that helped earlier and urged them to go and get something before looking back at the book. "Breathe, take rest," he said, telling the two to take a break before needing to look at the vault if they wanted, giving them the permission to look around. But his attention was grabbed to something beside the book... An ancient lightsaber of custom design. He gently picked it up and inspected it, tilting his head slightly to the Kissai, speaking to her. The Kissai spoke up talking about the book, obviously very positive about it, praising it like it had importance. But Adzatsmam was weary, telling the Kissai something that made her keep it out of sight of the individuals that we with them.

Gray decided to take the Sith's advise and rest up. The safe door looked sturdy enough as it was before they found out if it was warded by dark side energy like the door had been, which it likely was going to be. He walked over to the bed and put his hand on it. There was no dust to be had on it since there was no way for it to get into the sealed room. The things felt comfortable enough so he sat down. There was the creak of aged material, but it seemed to have remained solid despite the passage of time. He wondered what kind of person had lived here at one time, and figured that they were not the nicest seeing how Sith Lords tended to not be. He was just going to remain here until Adzatsmam was ready for the next step in the plan.

She sat by gray as she panted...channeling the force took a lot even with her amulet it still was a lot

This place...is so interesting..like walking through a time machine "she said and looked at the people as they opened the door"heym.they deem excited

Adzatsmam studied the lightsaber and paid close attention to its design. His knowledge of lightsabers were near nothing, but the tale of the ancient blade of their past ruler was one told through the ages. As if he had the power of liquid fire in his very hands... Adzatsmam had to see it for himself. Eventually he found an obscurity, perhaps the activator. He aimed the blade upward and pressed it.

Suddenly the blade shot out with a loud, searing sound. It filled the room with the look of lava. It wasn't like ordinary lightsabers, however. It was a flat blade, like a real sword. It gave off immense heat and Adzatsmam felt pulled to the blade, gripping it harder. The priests rushed it and witnessed the blade, rushing to the other priest with an ancient tome. They began reading the book on the desk and writing into their tome.

Adzatsmam deactivated the blade and pocketed it, turning to the others. "When ready, we... Open." He said, glancing at the vault

Gray smiled to Star as she spoke. She was right about the place seeming like a time capsule. The place had so much history in it and had seen a time long forgotten to most of the galaxy. It was surprising to see it all. It didn't take long though before the Sith were ready to open up the second vault up. That was the signal that the breather was over and they should get off of the bed to get back to work.

Gray got to his feet and walked over to the gathered group of Sith. He looked at the new vault door and admitted it looked impressive. He didn't get a sense of dark side energy from it though like he had from the first one. It seemed his thoughts on it being like before was off, which he was glad about. Last thing he wanted to do was deal with another warded door. He said as he looked at it, " How open? Do not break?" He hoped the Sith leader got his point about what he was asking.

She stood as they called saying they were ready and inspected the door as she touch it and closed her eyes to examine it"hmmm hmm doesn't seem as complicated as last time...yet still complicated

She said and moved back as she nodded and looked the outside over once more before looking to gray"ready to try and open it if he is

Adzatsmam became a little upset by the constant questioning of asking to break something, and how he was spoken to. Adzatsmam was able to understand the language for the most part, what goes in, almost translates itself, and he could remove words that were unneeded. The way he spoke wasn't to mock their language, but understanding a formula and writing a formula were different. This wasn't something Adzatsmam focused on, or could even convey, but it was a couple pebbles tossed onto the clogged up dam that was his anger.

Towards the mans question pf breaking, he just gave a bad look. Surely by now the man understood by seeing the age of the ship that it was a miracle it was flying. Not only did Adzatsmam not want to damage his home, but his home was a glass house, made of sugar glass. It's like a submarine under the ocean surface and sat there for several years, she creaks, she groans, and some floors are already lost to space.

"Engineer not know this... Machine, not helpful" he said, crossing his arms. The Zuguruk sorrowfully shook his head, the Kissai and other priests still writing

Gray could feel as Adzatsmam got upset at the way he spoke to him. He figured he needed to just speak normally from now on and stop bringing up breaking anything. It seemed the were stuck though on what to do with the door this time. He said as he looked at it, " Alright, then I guess I will take a look at it through the force and see what I can make out. Might try to open it up using the force as well." He closed his eyes as he put his hand on the door. He began to look out at it through the force and saw a complex internal system of analogue tumblers and pins. The lock on the first door was not as complex as this one was, but it was also protected by dark side energy. He reached out and began to use the force to manipulate the parts gently as he toyed with it to figure it out. The parts were stiff and rusty. The oil that allowed them to move freely had aged away long ago. He knew he wouldn't make any head way at this rate without breaking it if he did anything more.

Gray opened up his eyes and turned to the Sith leader. He said, " I need oil, grease. Anything to make metal parts move easily against each other." He didn't wait for a reply before he turned to Star and added, " I'm going to need your help. When we get the lubricant I will need help applying it to the parts. I can more solid objects right now well, but I do not know about my control over more liquid states. After that we might be able to get the door open without breaking anything and they can use it more afterwards." He turned back to the door and just looked at it. He hoped this plan worked out the way he wanted it to. He was trying to avoid damaging anything too much now for the sake of his clients. Now it was just going to see if they could pull it off.

Adzatsmam squinted at Raxis to try and understand what he was saying, what he was asking for. These were new words to him, but he eventually caught on. Releasing his arms he called over to the Zuguruk that was looking at some circuit board-like emplacement in the wall, speaking in Sith to him. The Zuguruk turned around as his attention was grabbed, and after tilting his head, he agreed, leaving the room.

"Engineer get needs for Justice Shipping," Adzatsmam said, trying to speak in a way that way understanding, but then remembered... he pointed his finger at Gray, "for... Gray Raxis." He grinned, pulling his hand back and giving a huff. Feeling good about himself for saying the individuals name. Before any conversations started up, several Zuguruk walked in with heavy tubs of oil, sloshing all about as they sat them down.

Adzatsmam applauded his people and patted one of them on the back, then reaching his hand out to show this presentation. "Jen'gtizosasi!" he boasted in Sith, calling it what his people called it.

Gray heard what the Sith leader had to say to him after he had ordered his men away. It was good that his figured out what was needed. He saw them return quickly with sloshing oil in tubs and turned to the leader. He smiled to the man and said, " Thank you Adzatsmam. Thank you all." He was sure to have butchered the name up, but he had attempted to say it as best he could properly. Language barriers were one of the worst things to try and get around, so it was good they were able to communicate as well as they were right now. He turned back to the door though when he finished speaking.

Gray closed his eyes and began to look at the door through the force as he said, " Alright Star, you are stronger in the force than I am so I will need you to try to pull those tumblers and other parts out so I can worm the oil in there. Don't work it too hard though or it might become damaged. This is raw metal against metal here and it is aged. Alright, time to get started." He began to focus hard on moving oil in small clumps out of the tubes into the lock. It was difficult for him at first as he tried to get use to the way the liquid flowed in his efforts, but after several minutes of toying with it, he began to move it around competently. He flowed it into the lock and to the first set of tumblers. He began to work the oil where it needed to go and made sure everything was well lubricated, which took all of the oil he had first pulled in there.

Gray continued to repeat this process until everything was completely covered in oil enough to allow for smooth workings. He wasn't sure how long it took, but he was feeling exhausted from the efforts of it. The work was delicate and required continuous flowing of the force to maintain. It took everything out of him physically and mentally, and he even had to push himself past his usual limit to complete it. He had finished the job though, and as soon as he did his eyes opened up wide. He took a sudden breath in and dropped to his knee. He was breathing heavily with sweat pouring down his face. It was clear what kind of effort it took for him to do it. He said between breathes, " Finish it up Beautiful, and get that lock completely unlocked. They can open it up after;"

Stardust smiled as she watched the man order some oil that was brought in buckets as she smiled and nodded to gray"Roger that I can do this

.she sighed as she closed her eyes, she focused on the tumblers and pins gently moving them, now it would become apparent if it wasn't already her power as she channled and radiated the force she seemed not to move but only barely with her fingers as she sighed and felt gray working the oil through the force, she smiekd as gray said she could unlock it as she opens her eyes"alright time to see what history has hid"she said and moved he oins carefully as they made the usually grinding and clanking before she finally had it unlocked and sighed as she out a hand on gray channeling force to him"its open adzatsmam phew that was difficult you OK gray?

Watched as the two did their hand-wavey meditation tricks. He didn't mock them in his head, the Priests did it all the time, but they did it while speaking chants in the Sith Language. Honestly the chants got to him every so often and he had to leave. But he would never think less of the Viae... and while these two had power in them, it didn't phase him in comparison. The female, who the man had much affection for had a lot of power, but Adzatsmam had become a little arrogant in his days. While he was off thinking about things, he was suddenly alerted to the two being finished and the vault clicked. Adzatsmam smiled and patted one of the Massassi next to him, boasting and laughing in Sith, remembering the old tales and these two nothing like the old times. The Massassi joined in the laugh but followed him as he walked to the vault.

Adzatsmam gripped the door, along with the other Massassi. The door wasn't stuck, but it was several times heavier than the ordinary ship door. It was meant to withstand explosions... but even if that were actually true, it didn't matter. Adzatsmam pulled with his Massassi Brothers, heaving as the extremely heavy door groaned as it pulled away from its socket, it was like uncovering a tomb. Adzatsmam had to suddenly let go as the other Massassi pulled, as he sawstacks of shining, bright Aurodium bars filling the room. There had to be nearly hundreds. And as the light shined into the room from the rest of the ship and hit the bars, it was almost blinding ... the reflection of the light. Adzatsmam stepped inside, nearly tripping on a small crate just to the side of the vault door. He kneeled down to inspect it, lifting the lid.

Suddenly, he yelled out in Sith and the Massassi and Zuguruk shoved passed the two individuals, Gray and Stardust, scrambling to see what it was. He had found a handful of Lava Crystals, the same used in the ancient Lightsaber he found earlier. Perhaps they were replacements? It didn't matter, he had ideas of the future. He stood up and grinned, grasping the shoulders of his fellow brothers and sisters, reassuring them. But he pushed through them slowly to grab at Grays hand, pulling it to him and shaking it, shaking the man off balance. "Viyir! Viyir! Because of you, we can rebuild and reclaim our home!"

Gray watched as the Sith got all excited when the door was pulled open. He got his breath caught back and stood up. He began to head towards the room when Adzatsmam came out and began to shake his hand energetically. He was almost thrown off balance by it, but had managed to keep it. He said as the sith kept shaking his hand, " You are welcome. Glad to help you out." He wasn't sure what it must be like for them right now, but he could feel the excitement flowing off of them.

She watched and smiled as she crossed her arms and looked in with awe"amazing...just amazing so much here...so much history"she said and smiled as she turned to [member="Adzatsmam"] and patted his shoulder lightly"if you ever need anymore help I'm sure we'd be glad to come help again
