Hidden Secrets of an Old Master

[member="Gray Raxis"] [member="Stardust"]

Adzatsmam had been in partial contact with a "Justice Shipping" company, which seemed to be somewhat new but growing like wild fire. After the Zuguruk figured out how to connect to the new HoloNet, and figured out how to interact with it (like old people using computers), Adzatsmam was able to very slightly learn a very small amount of Basic. At least, perhaps enough, to get by (I Tarzan, You Jane). Adzatsmam was able to communicate that he needed help opening a very big, very heavy, and very Sithy door. Behind it, may be riches and artifacts of another time, as it was owned by the ancient Sith Lord that originally ruled his people. Even the Zuguruk have been unable to decipher its mechanisms to any extent, just like their limited ability to study the highly advanced (from its time) Phantom-class, so for now... its been left. It has never been opened since the Sith Lord last left it, making it even hold oxygen that has aged much more than the Shahku Tribe itself.

Thankfully, the message was understandable to this company, and Adzatsmam gave his location to the people, hopefully so they could help to open the door, and they agreed for a price, that Adzatsmam was fine with paying. He would await for them to either dock with the Shahku Battleship, or land inside its hangars

Gray had been contacted by his boss James Justice to go do a job that was potentially highly profitable for the company. It seemed some ancient vault was locked and needed to be opened up, but the local people could not get into it. It had been owned by some long dead Sith lord who had left his people in a sorry state. These same people now needed help getting into the vault so they could try to get themselves involved in the bigger galaxy scene.

Gray landed his ship in the hangar of the Shahku battleship. He walked down the ramp wearing his ranger armor with his blaster pistol strapped to his right leg as always and the hilt of his light saber, Whisper, hung next to it. He got into the big ship and looked around. Things looked old in the place and it even gave off that feeling. It was hard to explain exactly, but it just felt old to him around the place. He just hoped the one requesting his aid would come greet him because he didn't know what the person would look like at all.

Adzatsmam had been alerted to the vistors arrival by the sensors, but the ship kept quiet most of the time, freely letting people dock with the ship since comms were still buggy and well, only fluent in Sith. The ship smelled of Pure Sith, but it wasn't so much a stench, but not unfamilar of Sith Tombs. Those... were in the lower decks. Adzatsmam had approached the landing craft that came into the hangar along with a Zuguruk and a Kissai accompanying him. As the two people exited, the group bowed their heads in greeting.

"I," the large one spoke, clenching his fist to his chest, "Adzatsmam. You.." he then pointed at the two people, "Just...Justice Shipping?" He tried to ask. Thankfully, being a quick learner on some things, Adzatsmam caught just barely enough Basic. He reached his hand out to the right in front of the Kissai, "Priest, study door magic." The Kissai bowed her head to the people just before Adzatsmam took his hand back, extending his left one out in front of the Zuguruk, "Engineer, study door works." Still not... very able to communicate well, sadly. A fix was in the works, however.

Gray could tell from the way the person who was clearly in charge acted that they were not use to speaking basic or interacting with outsiders. That was not such a bad thing though as far as Gray was concerned. There were others who were not use to speaking in basic because they refused to do so, and they were less friendly than these people who were trying to learn. Gray just smiled to the sith and said, " Yes, Justice Shipping." He pointed to himself before saying, " Gray Raxis." He pointed to Star next and added, " Stardust." He then extended a hand out to the man after he introduced the others they would be working with. He wasn't sure if the man was use to the action of shaking hands, but he was about to find out.

Stardust stopped as she entered and looked around...she wasn't affected by the smell of sith...she had been around plenty

However when the person bowed she bowed back and stayed silent as she listen"we help you"she said point to gray and her then to them"open door"she said as she smiled

Adzatsmam grew a large smile on his face, looking very enthused. As he noticed the man reach his hand out he nodded, 'inderstanding' the gesture and walking over, putting a pouch in his hands. It was a small pouch, but when the man would peer inside, he would count enough Aurodium coins to equal 100,000 credits. "Family show you door, come." Adzatsmam boasted, turning to walk away, his companions following.

Handshaking wasn't really a greeting they knew. They wouldn't be against it, but they didn't know it. They bowed their heads to new people, give a long bow for those of higher respect, and kneel to their leaders. That was what they were accustom to.

Gray frowned a bit when the man put a pouch into his hand. He shifted it from his right to his left hand before putting his right hand back out. He said with a smile on his face, " No. Shake hand. Sign of respect." He went over and took the man's right hand in his. He got a firm grip on it and did two shakes before letting go. He said after with a smile still on his face, " Hand shake, sign of respect." He hoped the man got the point, but who knew in these kinds of situations. It was always hard to try and get meanings across to someone who couldn't really speak back to you easily. He did make sure to check out the contents of the bag really quick though and saw the coins. He figured that was the pay for the job, or at least the start of it. He hadn't earned his pay yet though, so he held it back out for the man to take. He said as he did, " Haven't earned it yet." He was a mercenary and a business man, but he tried to be honorable about things.

Gray waited to see what the man would do with the bag before he said, " So, door?" He held an arm out to indicate for the man to lead the way. He was ready to get this job started and find out what was in that vault. He had heard rumors of the kinds of treasures that ancient Sith Lords horded and wanted see for himself if it was true or not. He would follow behind the man as soon as he lead the way. Gray turned his attention to Star as they followed and said, " So this is an interesting job James gave us isn't it? I'm interested in seeing what we find behind this door."

Adzatsmam stopped as he heard the man speak up saying no, and went to turn around. But before he did the man grabbed his hand and shook it. Adzatsmam was surprised, extremely... no individual has ever done such a thing to him, especially while he was Vazir. His companions looked even more shocked, thinking it was disrespectful, but Adzatsmam grinned and shook back, his strength wild to the man as he jerked the mans body slightly... Massassi known, or rumored, for their strength. "Respect," he said with a larger grin. But then he shook his head, keeping his grin, pointing at the bag. "Trust. Friendship. Not enemies yet, no distrust. Work together, no barrier between." he stated, pushing the bag back to the man. Currency wasn't even a thing to Adzatsmam anyway, he valued loyalty above all else. He would fight for it, and fight with it.

"Yes, door," he agreed, turning to gesture the man into the correct direction as he lead the way. The Kissai and the Zuguruk could be heard whispering, whether it was about the individuals, the door, or whatever, it was unknown as they spoke Sith. But it quickly stopped as Adzatsmam told them to stop, he spoke Sith with them, but it was unknown as to what he said as well. However, it would have to do with the two individuals that came here; in a positive way.

Gray watched the little scene going on in front of him by the Sith people. They seemed to be talking among themselves in their native tongue, but it was hard to say what their conversation was about. They could have been talking about him and Star or about the task they were about to undertake or even just about who was the prettiest girl on the ship. The answer to that last one was the green skinned beauty walking next to him, but Gray might be a little biased about that one. They eventually were silenced by their leader, but it seemed like things were rather positive about it all.

Gray turned to Star and said, " Well these people seem to be Siths, so I would hope it smells like them or I have some questions about where the found such an old ship. I'm expecting some Sith alchemy and dark side force to be involved in this job. I can't say I am too confident in dealing with either of those though because I have no experience with either. How much experience do you have Beautiful? A little? A lot? Have a little stint with a sith lord for awhile?"

Adzatsmam contiued down the long line of hallways until they finally reached their destination. The air wasn't thick, but it felt like a vibration force emitting from the door, and it didn't feel good, it created a somewhat uneasy feeling. It was a large and thick door, about four feet wide and nine feet tall. Even for Adzatsmam being so tall, the door was tall for him. Adzatsmam spoke some words the Kissai and she nodded as she started chanting, before turning to the others. "All Priests... lower dark power... little, but still strong. Justice Shipping..." he cleared his throat, not used to this, "help Engineer?" He asked, as the Zuguruk nodded.

As the chant went on with the Kissai, the rest of the Kissai on board also began to. They were literally consuming the Dark Side, feeding on it. But there was no increasing to speed to feed, and the door continued to generate dark force energy, but it now began to lose its uneasy affect on Gray and Stardust, in turn, weakening its force affect of being a strong lock. But that is the ost the Shahku have been able to do. Maybe while the Kissai force feed, Gray and Stardust could study the lock enough. Even with it being old, it was vastly advanced for its time

Gray walked up to the door as the Sith leader lead them up to it. It was completely infused with dark side energy, and reminded him of that cave back on Dagobah. It wasn't exactly the same in its function, but the energy was the same as that on the planet. He did not like the amount of dark side energy in it, but it only was partly due to the effect the door had on him. He frowned as he looked at it. The Sith leader began to speak and gave some orders to the female sith. She began to chant and he could sense the dark side energy being slowly drained out of the door by many people all over the ship. The Sith leader began to mention needing help with the lock. He walked up to it, conquering his unease not related to the feeling from the door.

Gray said as he examined the door, " Want the door intact? Is it okay for it to be destroyed?" He didn't know if what he said would be understood or not, but he wanted to ask before he did anything. He closed his eyes and focused on the force. He began to look at the door through force sight to try and see if he could get an image on its inner workings. He didn't know if the lord had put up wards to block such an action or not though. He just looked at it until he got an idea of what he was working with.

Stardust looked at the door and whistled at it"yep...looks like a tomb...or something"sbs said as she felt the dark energy not showing she was uneasy at all...truthfully she was and didn't like the feeling...however she was a dragon...and when a dragon was challenged the dragon would fight back"

Hmmm I don't think you can destroy it"she said and proved her point with a saber as she swung at it only to bounce back"the soth maybe their tombs so they could withstand a star ship"she said and looked towards [member="Adzatsmam"], thankfully r8 had found a rough guide on how to speak ancient sith....however she'd miss letter and stuff do to it not being exact...and she'd be slow

-cn....dor...be..broken?-"she said and looked diver not knowing if she had even spoke it right...soemthjng shed have to research

Began listening to the two as they spoke, and was prepared to respond but as he witnessed the the ordinary ship inner door get struck by a lightsaber, he went into an uproar and the two companions gasped. "NO! Nooooo!" he yelled, running in front of the door. "Ship!" He put his hand on the door to stand between the woman and the door, thinking she was reckless, "Ship" he patted the door with his hand, "home!" He pulled his hands backto himself. "Ship," he spread his hands out, "Home!" He put his hands above his head in a roof style. "Respect home, no destroy!" he sighed, turning to look at the door as it was charred by the lightsaber, the metal cut at, but the dark force energy keeping the blade from penetrating more. Feeling the scar he got a little upset, but kept calm, turning to look at Gray. Gray had been the most trustful at this point. Not saying the woman hadn't also been trustful, but all the way up to this, she lost some credibility with Adzatsmam for striking the door.

He closed his eyes and took a breath to calm down, reaching his palms out to his companions and urging them to be calm in Sith as well, before speaking again, "Ship is home. Do not destroy home. Respect home. We lower Dark Force, we unlock. We do not break."

Gray watched as Star suddenly struck the door with her lightsaber after mentioning it was not able to be destroyed. He was a little shocked she would do something like that, but the biggest issue was the Sith people's reaction to it. They suddenly became very flustered and were mentioning how the ship is their home. Gray could sympathize with them on that because he had grown up on ships his whole life. He turned to Star and said, " Beautiful, just put your saber away for now. It seems they want to avoid as much damage as possible. We will just need to focus on getting the lock to come open is all we can do now." He smiled to her.

Gray turned his attention to the Sith and sent calming, soothing waves through the force to them, hoping it would help. He said as he did, " We will not break. Ship is home, home not to be broken. We will unlock the door." He smiled to them then walked up to it. He just studied it for a bit, but it just looked like a somewhat normal door. He eventually decided to close his eyes and focus on it through the force. He began to use force sight to try to see if he could make something out of it that way. He figured he could learn something this way that he couldn't with using his eyes normally.

She jumped and looked back at the group before putting her saber away and she herself sent a calm wave"I..sorry...I now want destroy"she said and paused as she went quite and brooded in her mistake as she turned to gray"

She focused on the door with her force sight and let a breath out as she pushed her brooding aside to focus on the task at hand"hmmm gray enhance your vision...I see...a complex lock

Adzatsmam was engulfed in the dark side, and the dark side consumed this ship, but at the moment was shrouded by the door whos dark force was separate. Adzatsmam was already kept calm by his willingness to reach out, and the calming effect his great Viae put over him, putting him at ease.

He spoke up to his companions, giving them orders and they began. The priest/kissai began chanting very loudly, who was also synonymous with every other priest aboard, includong the great Viae as they consumed the energy much quicker, together. Even some Massassi entered the room to begin consuming the dark energy. While the dark force was continuously generated, it was now weak enough for the two force users to see much more clearly, and now the Zuguruk and the others could get close without it hurting them, practically lay on it and it would be fine.

"Find answers quickly, this... Very exhausting, for family," Adzatsmam said, crossing his arms as he looked at the two
