She'd succeed in unbalancing him there was no doubt.

As Arris Windrun Arris Windrun may have already surmised, even implying as much earlier he knew what he was doing. Insofar as grappling was concerned it was mostly a matter of transitioning from one move to the next. Half the battle could be making your opponents moves work in your favor.

With her head still in the crevice of his right armpit as Rel felt her shifting her would tighten his hold on her forearm in an attempt to keep it pinned behind her back. As she pushed with her more functional leg the power of her cybernetic was obvious, Rel would start to fall backwards however he didn't release her. Reaching with his left arm, brought down out of what would have been another powerful blow he'd grab at the outside of her right hip for leverage.

As he fell backwards Rel would torque his hips forward, bridge them underneath her as he went to pull her overtop of him while lifting with the hand he'd set across her hip.

It would be a basic 'snap' suplex if it was successful. Not as powerful as some of the others he'd deployed thus far but effective enough given the circumstances. His primary focus was to throw Arris over onto her back, using the awkward positioning of her arm to try to damage it further when she came down.

If it landed she wouldn't find it difficult to escape, Rel would have rolled over onto his stomach and started to rise back onto his feet.

The cyborg's arm snapped off at the elbow.

The crowd erupted into more cheers, naturally, and twins 500-cred brought the total up to a cool 4,000. Enough to buy a sweet Bobber from a swoop dealer Arris knows. Naturally, there were plenty of jealous spectators who wanted nothing more than to be the big man splitting chrome.

Arris rolled away in what was becoming her usual escape method tonight. She also displayed a bit of that uncanny cybernetic movement by managing to stand up fairly quick despite all the damage she had sustained. Her balance was terrible, but it looked cool.

At the same time, her co-processor was really starting to kick in. She intended to try her best to avoid any final surprises. Instead, Arris brought the half-arm up to her head as if clutching it with a phantom hand. Her eyes closed, and she grimaced. If there was going to be a 'most vulnerable moment of the night' for her, this was it. She was wiiiide open, and there was less than a minute left to go.

Rel Ahn-Dross Rel Ahn-Dross

It did look cool when she came back onto her feet. Especially considering how damaged she was.

With Rel standing across from her the calls from the crowd in this small alley had become almost deafening. They smelled blood, especially when it appeared as though Arris Windrun Arris Windrun was struggling. Anyone who knew Rel would expect him to close again and either attempt to lock her into another hold or bludgeon her with his fists.

Expectations aside the spectators might be disappointed though.

"No."

...he said, loud enough that the Organizer could hear him...

"She is done. We needn't continue any longer."

He was a Reaver, he enjoyed the fight and battering his opponents until they were bloody but he had been raised in the Mandalorian culture too. He knew something of honor. She was not his enemy.

He'd raised his right hand, signaling that he did not intend to continue the attack. His father had once told him and his sister, Senar Ahn-Dross Senar Ahn-Dross that mercy was a quality all its own.

"Rest if you need to."

...he'd say, uncertain if that would help her or if it was something else.

There was no small measure of surprise in the crowd. Well, maybe there was, but of a confused variety.

No shortage of 'huh?' and 'wuh?' going around, along with curses from bettors who had just secured wagers on what would happen next.

Though confused, most of all was the organizer, who had never felt so baffled by an outcome in his life as an 'events manager.'

"What?!" The man shouted. "You're giving up?!"

Seconds burned away as time came to a close. Before the organizer had a chance to push back, his timer buzzed loudly.

"Well fuck it then! The fight is OVER!"

Or was it?

Arris struggled as a flood of memory and pain washed over her. She recalled her time during the Kaggath, when she was nearly this beaten. It was in her match against Allyson Locke Allyson Locke , near the end. The two squared up in what was a few short threads away from death for Arris. She wasn't sure the Sith Shadow could say the same, but the cyborg was broken in many definitions of the word.

She let out a frustrated cry. Not a warrior's nor a loser's. Just frustrated fuckin' noise. "Gaaaahhh!" She seethed.

It took a lot of willpower to settle things down, to turn that anger and fear towards something that wasn't violence.

"Chair!" She shouted clear over all other noise.

The back of the crowd dispersed as a couple of Ganks rushed in with a foldout chair and promptly set it up behind her. Arris fell back into the seat with a groan and sighed. Her eyes struck Rel Ahn-Dross Rel Ahn-Dross like a bird of prey, then she smirked.

"Looks like you got a lot out of me and then some."

The organizer made sure all of it was there. 4,000 credits all in chips of 500.

There were some in the Crowd who likely held a grudge against him for quitting. Rel didn't begrudge them any hard feelings but turning his head to look back in the direction of the crowd when the Organizer announced the end of the match he'd let them know he wouldn't show the same consideration for any of them. It didn't appear as though anyone would be foolish enough to attempt rushing him though.

As his gaze came back around to Arris Windrun Arris Windrun he watched as a chair was thrown down for her and she fell back into it.

When she locked a predatory gaze on Rel she'd see that the man held something similar, a violence existed in him that he sometimes only barely managed to restrain.

He laughed at her comment...

"I'm sure it wouldn't have been like this if you were allowed to fight back."

...he wasn't so humble as gracious, many of the holds he'd locked her in or moves he'd performed could be fight enders all on their own...

"It's obvious why you made it so far in the Kaggath though, you have a fighters spirit."

Assessing her from where he stood, missing the majority of both arms and her right foot the damage looked severe but he was reminded that a cyborg could literally replace many of their limbs.

Turning his head he'd locate her right arm, the one he'd smashed off of her torso with a powerful blow and moving over he'd have bent down to retrieve it. Lifting it in his hands he'd look it over, it wasn't the most advanced piece according to his limited knowledge of cybernetics but it was something. He'd look back towards her and ask...

"Mind if I keep this?"

"I'm sure it wouldn't have been like this if you were allowed to fight back."

"Well, that hardly would've been the point then!"

She leaned back as a pair of fans began to wash her down with rags, while the ganks worked on removing what was left of her other arm.

Her attention remained on Rel Ahn-Dross Rel Ahn-Dross the whole time.

His remark about her Kaggath results earned a small chuckle. "What, haven't you heard? I cheated."

It was no small rumor -- though with an organization like the Black Sun behind a show, it was to be expected. Her new job as Mauve's chief enforcer certainly didn't aid the perception.

She watched him turn his attention to the debris on the ground. When he collected the arm, she had a hunch as to why.

Arris nodded with a smirk. She would've waved a dismissive hand if she had one.

"Yeah, yeah! Keep it. Hell, I'd sign it for you but..."

A Chuckle escaped him when she'd mentioned she cheated.

He'd reply with a tone of indifference...

"Doesn't everyone?"

...they might not know it to look at one another but both of them were involved in the Black Sun. She was the Bodyguard to a powerful Vigo and he existed in the realm of an associate that lingered more on the outskirts. Eventually it seemed likely they'd cross paths with one another working for the Syndicate though.

Nodding appreciatively when she allowed him to take the cybernetic limb he'd have slung it underneath one of his arms...

"Appreciate it."

...then he'd have smiled thinly, it made him seem almost menacing in a certain light considering his usual expression was more stoic, colder until the rage took over...

"I'll get that autograph next time. Nice to meet you, Arris Windrun Arris Windrun ."

He knew her name from the Kaggath.

Without much more to say he'd have turned, collecting his winnings from the Organizer on the way before pressing through the crowd and back onto the streets.

He had plans in the realm of twenty-thousand credits for this cybernetic arm.
