PRODUCTION INFORMATION
Manufacturer: Visanj T’shkali
Affiliation: Closed-Market
Model: Hexantium
Modularity: None
Production: Semi-Unique
Material: Trimantium, Alusteel, Laminasteel, Neutronium, Laminanium, Agrinium
PHYSICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Classification: Alloy
Weight: Heavy
Color: Matte Grey
Resistances:
A thoroughly efficient material for starship armored hull construction, Hexantium provides excellent protection against energy weapons and kinetic attacks with limited protection against other types of damage, most notably EMP/Ion weapons and radiation. Able to heal minor to moderate amounts of damage with sufficient time, provided it is not being overwhelmed in the midst of battle, Hexantium further increases a starship’s longevity and serviceability. Hexantium cannot however, overcome sustained and continuous damage, nor can it recover from truly massive damage to it. Further, it provides no protection whatsoever against Force-based attacks.
Using agrinium to mitigate radiation damage and act as a sort of Faraday Cage, Hexantium also relies on laminasteel, trimantium, and alusteel to provide exceedingly high tensile strength, giving it an all-around protective quality, particularly against energy weapons and kinetic damage. Without any further shielding, Hexantium can keep a starship in the fight for quite some time, able to take an astounding amount of punishment before showing signs of weakening.

- Provides superior protection against energy weapons and kinetic damage, able to withstand a tremendous amount of damage via sustained and intense enemy fire.
- Provides sound protection against EMP/Ion dangers, able to resist all but the most powerful types of this attack.
- Excellent protection against energy weapons and kinetic damage allows a starship to endure sustained and intense enemy fire for long periods of time before weakening.
- Offers solid protection against EMP/Ion attacks, able to refute most of these kinds of weapons save for very heavy types.
- Limited self-healing capabilities, able to repair minor to moderate damage with sufficient time.
- Offers only limited protection against radiation, elemental, biological, corrosive, or pressure damage.
- Has no defense against Force-based attacks whatsoever.
- Self-healing has no effect on major damage, and cannot usually keep up with cumulative damage meaning despite its ability to self-repair minor to moderate damage it cannot adequately do so while engaged in combat and will become overwhelmed eventually, proportionate to the scale and intensity of incoming damage.
