Biography:
Pre-Creation
Since Kordan Six's last brush with offworlders, namely the Mandalorians, the native tribes of the planet decided to expand their villages and homes to the treetops, away from the jungle floors. The Kordas, Shifalans, and various other primate sentients that mingled across the jungle chose to build their society away from the landwalkers that this new generation of beings would soon come to call any offworlders unfamiliar with the land.
Lost in the vast jungles of the planet, Hera's parent's hid the infant on the jungle floor whilst losing their lives in an attempt to protect their offspring from one of the planet's many predators. Hours later the baby monkey was found by an elder of a treetop tribe, soon to be his adoptive father, that gave him the name Herashorr. The elder put his oldest son and daughter-in law in charge of him, thus expanding the small relatively unknown tribe.
Unbeknownst to those around him, Herashorr was Force Sensitive, and the growing well of energy within him grew as he did. It was because of this hidden inner strength that Hera began to slay beasts of the jungle floor much larger than he was, a feat that only the most seasoned warriors could accomplish. His elder noticed many different things about Hera. He showed such great potential and he sensed a great magic within the young monkey. This curiosity prompted the elder to bring the 15 year old Herashorr to the most esteemed Shaman of the jungle for evaluation.
A Young Herashorr
Upon sitting with the mysterious, strange Shaman, the lady primate relinquished the Shorr's rights to raise him and claimed him as her own, claiming the magic within him was too dangerous for an ordinary clan to house. Although confused, Herashorr didn't contest the decision. The Shaman taught him how to use and control his magic, teaching him to use his anger and fear to fuel his strength. Encouraging him to practice brutality in combat, avoid weakness in himself, to stay away from the unlucky and the unhappy, and to use his strength to claim what he wanted- by any means necessary.
Although her origins were cloudy, and even how she came to be on Kordan Six to integrate herself amongst other primates were unclear at best, one thing was for sure. She was a Sith, or was formally. He learned under her tutelage for years, until the leader of the treetop clans became sickly, and Herashorr was sent by the Shaman to kill him and assume his mantle as the King of Monkeys. Although frowned upon, his actions had to be tolerated by his people, lest the primates risk death themselves by the bloodthirsty monkey.
Herashorr proved to be a just King however, that prioritized the safety of his people, above all. This was particularly tested when humans from the land beyond the trees came to the jungle once more. Moving out to investigate, he traveled to the jungle floors, curious to find a human. Once he'd spotted it, he hid from sight to study the creature. It was a strange thing that looked almost like him but not exactly. The way it moved, Hera found it very interesting. But it needed to die. Before his presence was known he went back to the treetops. Hera was always warned that the humans were dangerous and because of them the land beyond the trees was scarred deeply.
Hera, Tainted by the teachings of the Shaman
After speaking with the Shaman, his advisor, about what to do, he returned to the jungle floor and found the human. Then he had done something no monkey alive had achieved. He spoke to it. A very loose, and primitive form of Galactic Basic taught to him by the Shaman years ago. His words wouldn't need to be sophisticated to get his point across however. The humans were a threat to his people, and he would not allow them to visit so freely. He approached the man, and startled him as he yelled a deep, gutteral word across the dirt to him.
"LEAVE!"
The human, as if he'd found what he was looking for, drew a sword and charged the monkey. A response Hera was prepared for as he used to the force to turn the weapon against him and kill him. War ensued as the humans from the land beyond the trees began raiding the jungle under the orders of their leader. Their armor was strong, their weapons sharp, but it was not enough. Herashorr encouraged the Kordans to use their size and strength to crush them and the Shifalan's to use the trees to ambush from above. Each battle was shortlived, each a victory to their proverbial banner. Until the fire came.
The Shaman warned that this could happen, but didn't exactly have a plan to overcome it. Burned out of their palace, out of the treetops, the primates were pushed to the edges of the jungle where they were forced into an open-field contest of battle with the humans. Monkeys died, humans died; Hera was sure the bloodshed would stain the earth for an eternity. Yet, in the midst of battle, lightning began to cackle, but not from the sky but from the monkeys. First from the Shaman, then Herashorr. Bodies began to drop, and after but a few minutes, the humans surrendered, unable to handle the Force of the primates and their magic.
Hera at the final battle for Kordan Six
Upon accepting defeat, Hera slayed their leader before the humans, and went to their land to start a new home for his people. The humans lived very differently from Primates, with their enclosed homes, various pets, and shops. They didn't like it at first, but they eventually settled upon the land, and became the ruling force over the Humans. It wouldn't be until years later that the Shaman would approach him with an idea. She revealed to him an old ship, large enough for only him, but equipped with the parts needed for long distance travel. She urged him to leave Kordan Six. The shaman explained that there was nothing left for him to conquer. That their were things in the stars, more lessons to learn, more accomplishments to seek- the possibilities were simply endless. He took heed to her words, as he always had, and said that he would return in her lifetime to tell her of his adventures. A human configured the settings and auto-pilot functions for him, after-which he departed in the small vessel and flew towards the stars.
