Help! Leori Sheltrak

"Oh." Maddie sighs than digs into her breakfast. "Hmmmmm". A little syrup drip down on her chin. "This good."

Hawk pour himself a cup of coffee and sits down on the couch. It was nice to have a little peace ans quiet. He picks up his datapad to read the news. Just enjoying his morning.

Leori looked over to Maddie when she sighed. "He found your mother once, didn't he? Don't worry. He has many friends to keep him company and out of trouble. When he meets the right person, it will be the will of the Force." It struck her as a little odd. Normally kids wanted their parents to stay together, not to find other people.

She kept eating, not taking long at all to get through her breakfast. As she ate, Leori considered the reasons she could be so eager to get her father involved with someone else.

"Yeah. I guess." Maddie says than continues to eat. "I don't want Daddy to be lonely when I go home. Mommy is so busy." She finishes her juice and pushes her plate away. She was stuffed. She lets out a little burp than giggles.

Leori nodded. "I'll keep him company whenever I can, if that makes you feel better." She offered Maddie a smile and a pat on the back after she let one rip. "The sign of a good meal." The Jedi Master giggled too before standing up from the table with their dishes.

"Let's go get some for your dad. I'm sure he's up by now." She dealt with the dirty dishes as they headed to get a plate for [member="Hawk Solo"]

Maddie grins ear to ear at Leori. She was happy that Leori was going to spend time with her daddy. She liked Leori. "Ok." She walks along side Leori as they get food for Hawk.

Leori grabbed a plate for Hawk, then turned to head back to his quarters with his daughter. "So what are you and your daddy going to do today?"

It was just a minute or two before they arrived back at his quarters. She let Maddie in first. "Hawk? We have breakfast." The Jedi Master stepped inside. "Feeling better today?"

"Hmmm I didn't know. I wanna go to the zoo." Maddie says as they walked back into Daddy's room. Maddie runs into the room and hugs her Daddy. "Morning Daddy. We got pancakes," she kisses him. Hawk grins. "Morning Sweetie. Morning Leori. Yes I am feeling better."

Maddie climbs down off her Dad and goes to watch cartoon. "Thank you for breakfast."

Leori laughed. "Maybe avoid the zoo this time."

She smiled as Maddie ran over to him. They were affectionate, which she wasn't used to. Her father had never been publicly affectionate, nor than once every blue moon in private. However, she had his respect, and praise often. Her father had been a very reserved man, she imagined since her mother had died. Leori believed that it wasn't always the case, or she wouldn't have existed.

"Glad to hear it. And, you're welcome kiddo." She looked to Hawk when Maddie had gone off to cartoon land. "She's bound and determined to get you in a serious relationship. I hope that I slowed her efforts, at least for a while."

"Thank you for that. She's worried that I will be lonely when she leaves." It was sweet that Maddie was worried about him. Hawk slowly eats the pancakes savoring every bites. "These are so good." He says commenting on the pancakes.

He glances at his daughter. She was totally into her show. "I don't even know when she is leaving. Her mother been very busy. " he had been thinking about making this arrangement permanent . It would be better for Maddie to have some consistently in her life.

Leori smiled. "I know. I enjoyed them too."

She felt a little strange just watching him eat, so she tried to keep talking. "I told her that only you could decide who was attractive to you. So hopefully she will be satisfied with that. I also told her that I'd keep you company when I was able." The Jedi Master offered him a smile.

"Well, if her mother needs the time to sort things out, it would be an opportune time for you to get back some of that time you lost with her. Start there, and see how it goes." She said, trying to offer him some advice. After all, Maddie might not be okay with it as a permanent arrangement.
