Hello,

New to the site and decided to try and get things going with the Galactic Alliance. Not to sure what to do next to be honest I'm a bit lost.

Hey!

Welcome aboard the Galactic Alliance, and most importantly, welcome to Chaos! As our front page of the faction shows, we're an... aggressively light sided faction. We're built to provide members with as much input as we can on how this faction develops and many of the characters come from all walks and regions of life.

In my opinion, jumping in is always the best way to start. Our Ready Room has pinned threads that are our current Faction threads and Dominions. They have an OOC (out of character) thread that provides assistance in getting your story ready to move, as well as our objectives.

Bestine and Mustafar is going on, but I'm seeing a lot of posts for the latter, Bestine is a slower pace and offers something for everyone, pirates, space pirates, and business type deals.

If you have any questions, though, please ask away, and we'll be more than happy to help you out! Getting on a new site is always a bit intimidating, and we'd love to make it easier for you.

Definitely not a bad idea, to try to get some of the newer members to the faction involved in a thread together.

As well as old ones, but new ones because of story arcs working together.

Dose the GA have an army?

The short answer: Yes, and you are welcome to play any role in it you like, so long as it fits your character story and you're not like 'supreme commander of all the armies.'

The longer answer is: Yes. We have an army, right now we don't have much of an IC structure written out for it. This is because the GA is designed to allow the writers to create what they want when they want it, and how they want it.

So basically, if you've got a unit/battalion/squad, in mind, you're welcome to write it how you want. Secure weapons (we have a very modest armory,but its more a 'bring what you have' set up, a la the Rebel Alliance of canon film).
