Hello everyone! Nice to meet you all! I've been RPing for a while now, but this is my first time specifically doing Star Wars RP. Can't wait to get started!

Just as an aside, I've taken a quick look at the site and I think I'd like to do an Imperial faction. Where do I start? I've got some ideas written down if anyone would be willing to take a look or direct me to where I can post. Thanks in advance, and once again looking forward to RPing with everyone here!

Honestly, I'm not entirely sure. I'm in the process of workshopping a custom planet, custom alien species and custom military forces (all Imperial themed, of course). Basically, the idea I'm working on is like an Imperial Remnant/Junkyard planet faction. Would that work if I wanted to join one of the existing groups, or would I have to adhere to certain requirements, if that makes sense?

You'd want to chat with the faction staff of whichever Imperial faction you're interested in to see how best your custom stuff will fit. If you're leaning toward the Confederation, you should hit up Karl Von Strauss with any questions

Fantastic, will do! Just one more question, if you wouldn't mind: as I understand it, I need to make a character. I have to first go to my profile and then create a sub account, correct? After that, do I just post in the character creation thread, or are there any additional steps that I might need to take?

Right!

You'll go under your profile and make a sub-account, which will be your character - so name it whatever your character's name is, give it an avatar to match, etc. Then, you'll post your bio to this forum. The rules for character creation and some code templates for your bio can be found here.

After that, the world's your oyster
