Hello There, I'm "HelloDere". (And if you get this joke, you're awesome.)
I was told about this site by an old friend a while ago, and it was one of those "I'll check it out eventually" situations. Well, here's eventually lol.
So, a bit about me:
I love Star Wars. I do. I really do! Ever since I saw the Phantom Menace in theaters (Yep, I'm that old). I've seen the movies and shows (And even survived the Holiday Special), read a bunch of books, comics, and other companion material like that. I know some fans can be a bit cut throat about what you consider "canon" these days, but I prefer what's currently under "Legends" over the Disney Star Wars stuff. (Not that I don't enjoy some of what's come this current era, just saying.) My favorite of the films has to be Revenge of the Sith, favorite show is the Clone Wars, favorite video game is by far Knight of the Old Republic, and favorite book Darth Bane: Path of Destruction.
But my fandom of things doesn't revolve around just SW stuff. Also love my comics (more a DC guy than Marvel but I am nerdy enough for both). Love the fantasy and the sci-fi stuff (actually did a Star Trek rp once a long time ago...not in a galaxy far away). Also really love "magic and monsters", especially Godzilla! (Hail to the King!)
Now, this isn't my first rodeo rping online. I've done other settings with varying characters over the years. I even did table-top stuff back in the day. If you're curious to know, I tend to play either "dark users with good intentions" type of characters, or the more "hot shot scoundrel" types. (Yeah, like Han Solo) Not that I don't like to expand my horizons, just don't be surprised if time-to-time it seems like I have a stereotype lol.
And that pretty much sums me up. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. (Lord knows, I'll probably have a hundred of my own).
