A call had gone out on the holonet, well, the dark holonet. That one that all criminal types seemed to monitor. Especially those who liked to keep their dealings a bit more secret. And that was where Eaton had found this job. Seemed simple. A sail barge on the seas of Spira was expected to take off and make its way toward the Outer Rim.
And why all this was important?
There were some very experimental starfighters heading out for the Rim. And that could mean one thing for those who heard the call.
Profit.
Where were they going? Didn’t matter. Some seemed to be prototype of smaller shuttles and gunboats, and there was definitely a small squadron of fighters being moved as cargo aboard this barge.
The call was simple. Board the sail barge before it made to dock with the large freighter that was going to take the entire barge through hyperspace and to the Outer Rim world. Once at its destination? Details were fuzzy.
It was recommended to get the fighters off the barge before it made to dock with the larger freighter. And deliver to another location safely in the Inner Rim.
And that was why Eaton was here. It was heist time. The vessel had taken off from port about a day ago, and he was actually turning this into a bit of a fun time for himself. He needed a vacation.
