People make up the number one resource for any mercenary company, which makes armor to protect them one of the first priorities of any good mercenary company. For most of the beginning years of Havoc Combat Solutions, they used outdated Republic models of armor that the original team that came over with Djacen had with them. They also raided stores on defunct bases for armor, and otherwise had a mismatch throughout the organization.
After the Metal Lords came through Nubia, however, Djacen was able to buy out a small armor and weapons manufacturer, folding it into HCS proper. So, as with any good mercenary commander, Djacen put his new design and production teams to making a uniform combat capable armor for all of his troops. The idea was to mass produce these suits of armor so they could also sell them for an increase in profits, and gift them to forces they are training.
