DESCRIPTION

Although relatively young compared to other Atrisian corporations, Hayata corporation has had a successful history of turning a profit and expanding business and opening new horizons of prosperity under the control of the Hayata dynasty of Atrisia. The organisation possesses several contracts with multiple planetary governments and is looking to secure an agreement with the Galactic Alliance senate to expand its businesses and public image even further. It could be said that Hayata is benevolent in its public image, with the CEO Aiko Hayata sponsoring several charities and programs designed to uplift marginalized communities in the core and outer rim. However, in hindsight, Hayatas unsavory business practices and alleged ties to the criminal underworld could be directly responsible for said communities plight and misery.

RATIONALE

Aiko came to inherit the mantle of the company and family head after a short but violent internal power struggle that led to the deaths of multiple Hayata family members, with Aiko consolidating power in the immediate bloody aftermath of the feud. The tiger daughter and head of the corporation divide her operations in a feudalistic style, giving control of areas to those of the loyal family, dividing the various factions in the corporation from consolidating against her. And keeping in with Hayata family tradition, Aiko has maintained a consistent policy of actively bribing politicians and lawmakers on her home planet of Atrisia to look the other way or vote for tax breaks on corporations.
