Have Insanity, Will Travel

The Wookiee air traffic controller saw the blip of a ship on his screen and opened up a channel to the starship.

"<Greetings, unidentified ship, and welcome to Kashyyk,>" he growled, "<Please respond with a valid landing permit and proceed to the designated dock.>"

"Sorry, what was that?" a human voice came over the comlink. The device squealed with feedback and the controller wrenched the comlink headset off his head before it could deafen him. When the static finally cleared, the voice continued. "It seems as though there is an akk dog talking to me from this cute little doodad among all the shiny buttons. That's a new one." There was an insane laugh and the blip jumped around before finally straightening.

The Wookiee sighed. Another nut job. The controller reached over and activated the built-in translator, then spoke again, the comlink automatically coverting the Shyriiwook to Basic.

"Unidentified ship, please give your name and landing permit number and set a course for the designated dock," he said, "And please try to fly in a straight line."

"Sorry," the voice said, "I was trying to pet the akk dog that apparently has finagled its way into my starship. My name is none of your buisness, my landing permit number is "blast you" and I don't wanna." The ship jumped around a little more, then suddenly plunged into a dive straight towards the planet. The Wookiee stood up and stared out his viewport. He saw it, a small shuttle, lightly armed but wicked fast, plunging towards the deep forest. He reached for the emergency button on his console, but by the time he reached it the ship had vanished amongst the trees.

"<Emergency response,>" a female Wookiee voice said, "<What is the emergency?>"

"<I just saw a starship go down in the deep forest, five klicks north,>" the controller said.

"<Roger that,>" the responder said, "<Teams are enroute.>"

Out in the forest, a Katarn was leaping through the trees, heading towards the scent of food. It reached the source, a shuttle hanging precariously by several vines. The katarn was seeking what it had smelled, but suddenly a massive tree branch as long as a man was tall shot from nowhere and impaled itself in the creature's neck. It fell to the ground, stone cold dead. Otium Mentis walked out from behind a tree branch and laughed.

"Bullseye!" he said. He then began walking towards the city he had seen as he had crashed. Hopefully there would be someone there who could get his ship out of the forest. His laughter echoed as he walked through the trees. By the time the emergency response teams arrived, all they found was a dead Katarn, a two-meter long branch sticking halfway into its neck.

"<By the Force,>" the leader said, "<Who the heck was this guy?>"

Elion slipped haphazardly through the large, dangerous forest, always checking behind her, always anxious. She had escaped from her captors' chains for the time being and decided to explore, remaining as docile as possible with Ender whispering genocidal things to her. She felt her hairs prickling on the back of her neck as she sensed a dark presence enter the atmosphere.

Do you sense it, Elion? Chaos falling from above? We should check it out.

Only if you'll shut up for at least half an hour. Fine, but it's my turn now. Wai- El looked up and saw a ship falling not to far from her current position and immediately began walking towards it against her will. Ender swiftly took over her host and began to run towards the falling ship, eager to meet the dark presence she sensed. As she neared the presence, Ender hid behind a tree and watch as a lone.. man? Walk out of the foliage and kill some sort of creature that got in his way. She smiled at that and almost joined the man in his insane laughter, but, wanting to keep her silent watch secret, she didn't. Instead she followed him through the safety of the trees.

Otium walked through the trees for quite a distance, heading for the small city. His eyes were wide as he observed the planet around him. It wasn't that it was beautiful, it was just, well, new. The trees on Dagobah had been short and swampy, these ones were so tall they completely blocked out the sun sometimes. They would provide interesting study.

Finally, Otium reached the city, which happened to be a large collection of platforms a good distance up. He looked around for a way up. He found a small elevator, guarded by a single Wookiee in a security officer's uniform. The Wookiee held up his hand as he approached.

"Sorry sir," he said in Shrrywook, "You can't..."

"Akk dog!" Otium yelled, launching a lightning barrage. The Wookiee fell dead.

"Oops," Otium said, walking into the elevator and pressing the "up" button.

Ender watched as the man killed a Wookiee guard for standing in his way, then used Force speed to get into the elevator before it closed. To [member="Otium Mentis"] it would seem as if the small girl had teleported somehow into the elevator. She put a hand to her head for a second to make sure Elion was firmly secured, before turning to the strange man and smiling. Her emotionless purple eyes gave her an insane or troubled sort of look as she stared straight ahead.

"You are the immense dark power I sensed while walking in the forest. I followed you here to see if I was correct." She talked in her smooth voice as if there wasn't an insane killer right next to her.

When the small young woman suddenly appeared in the elevator with him, Otium looked at her with his crazed eyes and smiled. He began to walk around her, as if examining her, though he was slightly restricted by the confines of the small space. He stopped right in front of her, squinted, stared for a second, then, out of nowhere, poked her in the nose.

"You're real!" he said, jumping back a few centimeters. He hopped up and down a couple times, clapping.

"I have a real friend!" he said, his eyes so filled with madness you could barely tell what color they were. Then the woman made her statement, and he suddenly got fully serious.

"Now that you know, I'm going to have to kill you," he said. The air began to crackle with electricity, and Otium's face got darker and darker. He got to where he looked like he was about to attack, then suddenly the power dissipated. He rocked back with laughter.

"Psych!" he said, laughing maniacally.
