Harsh Justice

Count Reitor stood at the window of his huge palace, in his throne room, overlooking the cliffs of Serenno. He was in casual garb, just a black Chiss Navy jacket, black pants and black gloves. He was not expecting a fight, but he still kept his blaster pistol, vibro blade, and sickles on his belt, mostly for show. He had two guards, in full armor, stationed at every door in the huge fortress, including a group of his most elite warriors in this room. But instead of only two, he had a full squad of eight, dedicated and trained warriors, as well as his second in command, Captain Grelizek, a Frozian warrior who had been in his service since he had gotten his first command.

Right now, however, he was waiting for a group of soldiers that he had sent out to bring in a criminal he had caught illegally shooting endangered animals on his property. Reitor truthfully didn't care, but the other houses of Serenno would see it as an affront to the family honor, and would think him weak if the offender was not punished. So he had sent out two full squads of troopers to capture him alive and bring him to meet the Count. Sighing, he marched over to his plain, black chair that served as his throne in this stronghold. He slowly sat down, leaning back and grasping the arms of his chair, taking on an opposing posture.

The hunter had taken three trips killing multiple animals in the process, his stealth like abilities made him hard to detect. The only noise that could be heard was his blaster rifle ultimately ending an unsuspecting creatures life. Rocky terrain was the hardest to hunt on, because so much noise could be made, yet the mandalorian gracefully was silent with almost near impeccable silence. Mandalorians were survivors that valued family, a true survivalist like Veliz made a great mandalorian. As long as bravery was on his side, which the Fett definitely had, especially when trespassing a nobles land. Something was different, the pure silence was broken, as the hunt was sorely interrupted by guards. What in the kark? The camouflaged being looked through his T-visor , spotting at least twenty men in his vicinity. All successfully surrounding his area, searching, for him, but what the men would not realize is they were walking into a minefield of traps spread throughout the area. The hunter would stay hidden, in hopes some of his men would fall victim to the well hidden that would be brought. [member="Count Reitor"]

The men walked forward slowly, until one of them spotted the mandalorian trespasser. "Hey! There he is!" He yelled, and they all lifted their blaster rifles, releasing a hail of stun bolts at the mandalorian, hoping to incapacitate him and bring him to the Count. They moved forward quickly after releasing a shower of blasts at the lone warrior. Suddenly one of them fell into a large hole in the ground, followed by another. After that the troops were more cautious, not wanting to fall victim to any other traps.

The Count sighed again and stood, beginning to pace the floor in front of his throne. He was a patient man, but he was anxious to deal with this matter so he could get it out of the way. He stopped, and turned around heading back to his chair and sitting in it. Leaning forward and clasping his hands, the young Chiss wondered why it was taking so much time to capture a simple troublemaker. [member="Veliz Fett"] (sorry for the short post, I am very tired.)

Somehow the mandalorian, gave away his position, slightly moving just enough for his enemies to capture his position. The traps had only slightly worked, it seemed only a few were dumb enough not to be cautious, around a master hunter. Unfortunately for them, marksmen was in a perfect position, in a well conceived hunting hole. It was as if trench warfare had begun, the two squads where stupid enough to stand in one place, slowly piece by piece, activated trip ware traps were controlled from within the hole, causing tree's to fall almost anywhere. What was made to slow an advance of a prey from escaping became brutal deaths for the men who were not so lucky to have tree's fall on them. Did they really think this was just some lowly pesky poacher? No, this was a master hunter, in his domain, not many truly knew it better then he did. Was a mistake made? Yes, but obviously one easily corrected through the multiple back up plans he had to catch game. While the muscle bound warrior, had light saber, and blaster resistant armor, there were multiple joints the bolts could stray too.

Harming him just as badly, while mandalorians did not fear pain, they preferred glory in victory, this stealthy warrior had his ways of facing enemies in combat to win. But first, he had to use his camouflaged armor to his advantage by staying compltley still in his mud hole, it seemed he would have to pay a visit to the bold noble of this estate after all. It would indefinitely be a shame, for both of them, not only did he need safe passage back to his ship, from his enemy at the moment. But, the leader would have to suffer vast casualties in order for this to happen, this would indeed cause tensions, not easily forgotten. [member="Count Reitor"]

(OOC: Your post is great, but there is one concern I have that needs to be addressed. Take in mind, I am a master of the wilderness, I can make myself almost impossible to spot. In which case I did, by hiding, while I am a go to the flow type of guy. It is not a good idea to simply meta game, meta gaming is where one knows something that would almost regularly go unnoticed or unknown. An example of this would be: Darth bane masked his presence from multiple jedi after the battle between the army in the light, and the army of darkness. Making him relatively impossible to detect from orbit by the force, or by scanners due to so many dead life forms. The republic fleet admiral, also a jedi knight had sensed an odd source unknown coming from blah blah sector. Therefore it must be a sith, which they must capture...... This is meta gamming where one magically knows where something that is secret is. Another example would be hoth for example, Darth Vader could sense luke sky walkers presence on hoth, but a gut feeling somehow causes vader to look at coordinates blah blah blah, where the secret rebel base was found ignoring lukes presence, and not sending a probe droid at all. Do you see how this could get annoying to other? It also is frowned upon in the community for this reason, but I am fine with your post, and because there was great detail, and emotion I am ok with this. A suggestion though, would be to extend sentences with more "flavor" type words, it helps create an image in the role player's mind. Another question, what are the NPC's generally thinking at this moment? Are they nervous after losing there comrades? Because while they are now cautious, it seemed like they had no connection with each other. Other then the fact that they had a same goal, if this is your intent then ignore my suggestion. But, all in all very impressive, just continue gracefully accepting my critique, and you will love how far you have come.)

The surviving troops reacted with surprise, but quickly their intense training and discipline set in, and they jumped behind boulders and tree trunks, continuing their intense fire. The captain of the group, a tall, thick Chiss, who was fortunately very alive, activated his comm. He knew that his troops would fight to the end, refusing to react if their fellow soldiers fell, but he still wanted back up. The soldiers were like a brotherhood, and they hated outsiders that resisted them or their lord. Speaking into the comm in his helmet, he contacted Captain Grelizek himself. "Sir, the enemy is well armed and prepared, and I am calling for reinforcements." He said, turning off his comm and shooting a volley at the lone mandalorian.

Captain Grelizek received the urgent message and walked over to the seated Count, to relay the information. "Sir, the troops you sent out to capture the criminal are taking casualties and request aid." Reitor sprang to his feet, rushing over to the door as he spoke. "Then reinforcements they shall be given. Assemble a platoon of P-1 combat psychic troops, and we will see how well this warrior fares. Meet me in the courtyard." he said, pushing the large gates to the throne room wide, and marching down through the halls, preparing to put on his combat vest and suit. Ten minutes later, Captain Grelizek had arrived with a platoon of the finest assassins and warriors under the Chiss's command. They had met in the coyrtyard, as planned, and within another ten minutes they were on their way, flying off on speeder bikes to try and catch their prey.

OOC: (Does that one look better than the last, because I tried to follow your advice more, and I was really tired last night when I made the rest of the posts.)

The mandalorian hunter was compltley lost, the men could no long find him. Where had Veliz gone? More men began to approach the hole, opening fire. This was amazing, his armor had done his job, his enemies could not pinpoint his location, firing randomly at the hole, one stray shot had hit his chest. Only an expert hunter, or tracker could see the difference of impact, it did not make the mandalorian move. Beskaram was worn, only mandalorians, like Veliz , would be able to have such a fine armor made out of rare material: Beskar. Beskar was a material that was immune to most ranged weapons, melee weapons, and lightsabers. An impact like this did nothing, it would take several thousands of shots before the armor became damaged.

But, if a joint was shot, there would be trouble, as there was no protection for the wilderness warrior. Once others had started, to search near the whole, the stealthy hunter crawled slowly, his Bucye(helmet in mandalorian), began to get muddy. A military crawl was made, stopping only if others gazed his way, this had only happened once, and it was the captain who looked casually in his general direction. Pure silence, pure skill, the silent, but extremely deadly, and brutish warrior used his camouflage to his advantage. This truly was a moment to look back on, his skills as a hunter had saved his life. Crawling continued, underneath bushes, which even with a body through them, rarely moved. Precision was key, after years of sneaking up on game one knew how plants reacted, especially when moving through them.

South was the made direction the mandalorian went, north was toward the estate, and his ship. With reinforcements most likely on there way, more chiss no doubt, it would be best to go away from them toward high ground. Because first, the scout needed to access the situation, this would be done with his sniper. Immediately, after escaping sight, a snipers nest was created over a hilltop over looking the site. The snipers nest would be made of dirt, leaves and wood, overlapping the stalkers body, extra leaves, wood, and mud would be made into a small pit sized hole. This is where the sniper lay, the darkness would make any shot fired from his DX-15 blaster sniper, seem normal as it was light as day out, and if the fight should last during night. The overlook could be made smaller, to isolate the light, making it hard to pinpoint the attackers location. Hopefully, this battle would not last into night, but if needed, the human could simply, slip away. Ghost's where hard to kill, because they could not be seen, the hunter could not be seen, and would be patient, he needed to know who the reinforcements where, before he ended this fight quickly.

(OOC: You did great on the emotion, but remember to also describe the actions of what your characters doing, these actions should be influenced by the situation, the background, and the characters/NPC's emotions. Remember to as best as possible, combine these together, it makes it seem more realistic, which makes a better story. Thank you for giving me permission to sneak away from your npc's. You are improving after every post, good job pal :). ) [member="Count Reitor"]
