Zes smiled at the immediate curiosity. "Her name is Hannah. She's thirteen."

“Hannah that’s a beautiful name”Nolan smiled “is her father around or is he not in the picture”

 

[Zesiro]

Zes's smile faded slightly, though there was no discomfort in the answer. "No. Hannah's father isn't around anymore. It's been the two of us for a long time."

“Oh um I’m sorry where there issues I’m not wanting to pry I’m just curious”

 

[Zesiro]

Zes shook her head gently. "No, there weren't any issues between us. He's been missing for about six years. We never found out what happened to him."

“well if you want to look for him I’d be more than willing to help I am a Jedi after all”

Zes gave him a small, appreciative smile. "Thank you, but I've looked. Many times. I followed every lead I could find."

“Did he have a reason for leaving did he say where he was going”

 

[Zesiro]

Zes was quiet for a moment before shaking her head. "No. He didn't leave us. Our home was invaded, and he disappeared during the attack. I haven't seen him since."

“Who attacked you”

 

[Zesiro]

Zes's expression grew more serious. "The Bryn'adûl. They attacked Kesh. Edric disappeared during the invasion, and I never found out what happened to him."

“Never heard of them but they don’t sound like the friendliest of people”

 

[Zesiro]

Zes gave a faint, humorless smile. "Friendly isn't the word I'd use. They conquered nearly half the known galaxy before their leader disappeared. After that, they eventually faded away."

“Uh this is probably a far fetched idea but maybe there in the unknown regions or maybe they flew the coop to another galaxy”

Zes shrugged slightly. "Maybe. I really have no idea what became of them after everything fell apart." She paused before adding, "And I can't say I have any desire to go hunting them down to find out."

“I know what you mean but if it was me and it was a loved one of mine I wouldn’t hesitate to find them” Nolan immediately held his tongue for a second before saying “I’m sorry I meant no disrespect but what if it was your daughter that got taken”

Zes's expression tightened slightly. "Do you think I've given up on finding Edric?" There was no anger in her voice, but the question carried more weight than those before it. "I've spent six years looking for him, Nolan. Not wanting to hunt down the Bryn'adûl doesn't mean I stopped looking for my husband."

“I know you are angry it’s ok to let it out I probably deserve it” Nolan sighed “I’m sorry I don’t know what I was thinking”

Zes smiled, though the tension remained in her expression. "You haven't seen me angry, Nolan." She held his gaze for a moment. "You asked a bad question. That's hardly enough to make me lose my temper."
