Intent: To create a walker type vehicle for the Hutt Cartel that's comparable to other factions' armored vehicles and is capable of engaging land and air forces.
Development Thread: None
Manufacturer: Ubrikkian Industries
Model: Walker
Affiliation: Hutt Cartel
Modularity: limited, paint scheme, missile type, mud shoes)
Production: Mass-Produced
Material: Durasteel
Description: A one-man assault walker designed to engage enemy infantry, armored vehicles, and aircraft while using its heavy frontal armor to defend itself. The cartel chose an all-in-one design to reduce the cost of mechanizing their forces by cutting down the total number of vehicle types. The driver can access the cockpit through the upper hatch which is reached by either a gantry, climbing the vehicle, or (Most often outside of the garage) by simply lowering the chassis into a 'squatting' position and leaning the main body forward to the ground. Reverse-jointed legs help increase the smoothness and speed of forward movement but give the walker a difficult time on steep terrain, slowing it considerably. And while it may boast impressive firepower, sustained use of the twin gatling lasers (~20 seconds) will result in a forced stop while they cool. As a result they're best used in shorter bursts which prevent an operator from hosing down everything he sees before him.
