SPECIAL FEATURES
Strengths:
  • Heavy missile firepower
  • Can operate autonomously
  • Can fire at aircraft as well as at ground targets
  • Can resist ion/EMP fire
Weaknesses:
  • Vulnerable struts: a well-placed shot at the struts or at the hoops can easily immobilize, or even kill, a Hailfire-X droid
  • Limited ammunition
  • Poor electromagnetic plasma cannon firing arcs: they cannot fire on the sides or above
  • Exposed missile launchers
Description: The Hailfire-X droid, as with all battle droids, are fourth-degree droids; its droid brain allows autonomous, crew-less operation. It was found on Charros that the hoop wheels of heavy hailfire droids were, in actuality, a serious liability to their use, so rather than to use a wheeled drivetrain, a repulsorlift drivetrain was used, with the hoops kept at the insistence of the Xi Charrians as part of the deal allowing some Xi Charrian refugees to settle on Bimmisaari and operate their own vehicle production lines there in the aftermath of the Charros IV invasion. However, while the hoops were kept, they were redesigned so as to act as fuel cells for the vehicle, powering the repulsorlift, the fire control systems and other systems, such as the shield generators. In addition, NERA armor was added onto the mainframe of the droid. Despite these modifications, the exposed hoops and struts are the clear weak spots on this droid, and a well-placed shot at either part can cause a mobility or even a catastrophic kill.

The weapons suite comprises three proton rocket launchers, each of which contain ten proton rockets, whose firepower are individually twice what's available on standard proton torpedoes, and two underside Anoat repeater electromagnetic plasma cannons to defend against infantry or light vehicles. In addition, the main problem with those cannons is that they are limited to 90 degree arcs either forward or rear, and cannot elevate more than 15 degrees; they can't depress more than 15 degrees either. Finally, it is recommended that Hailfire-X droids be deployed alongside support elements on a battlefield.

This sub looks good for the most part, it's just a little over powered.

I'd like one more weakness to be added, then this should be good.
