Description:

The Hades-class Gunship was created for the Fel Imperium with an emphasis on heavy bombardment and troop transport operations. Many of its internal bays and weapons racks were based from the old Republic LAAT/i gunship from back during the Clones Wars. Aside from the obvious armament, it boasts a magnetic underbelly, giving it the ability to latch on to capital ships and shut off all electronic completely and last on air for 30 minutes. This tactic is often used in conjunction with the Fel Imperium's Solar Spear-class Assault Barge when undertaking direct contact operations.

As for the armament, it's all mainly forward facing. The repeating blaster cannon turret has the capability to revolve and face the rear, but the Gunship's design severely hinders this and only allows the turret to aim at lower angles such as below the vessel. Two warhead launchers sit atop the frame of the vessel, each equipped with five Proton torpedoes each. The ordnance bay sits above the troop bay. This was mainly designed to protect against critical hits from hostile flak and AA, but also increases the risk of aerial attacks from enemy fighters or interceptors scoring a direct hit.

Considerably fast, moderately armored and armed, the Hades-class makes its debut as a compliment to Imperium vessels and ground support units.
