OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION

SETTING INFORMATION
  • Space Station Name: Hadante Prime
  • Station Model: Lords of Chaos Foundry
  • Classification: Manufacturing and Ship Construction/Repair Station; Shadow Port
  • Location: Orbiting Hadante in the Redoubt Cluster
  • Affiliation: Lords of Chaos
  • Population: Heavily Populated
  • Demographics: Mostly inhabited by droids and slaves there are also a few traders and smugglers that call the station home outside of the members of the Lords of Chaos which consist of pirates, slavers, and all sorts of other villainy.
    Droids
  • Chiss
  • Humans
  • Other
  • Stenax

[*]Accessibility: As one of the Lords of Chaos' largest Foundry Stations the station consistently is on high alert, especially after the Iron Empire's move into the system. Being heavily defended, it is also difficult to find as it is in constant motion along with the rest of the asteroid belt around the planet. Constructed into a massive hunk of floating space rock its difficult to find even on sensors.
[*]Description: Hadante Prime is the first line of defense against slave revolt in Hadante as well as the busiest Shadow Port in the Redoubt Cluster. Where Hadante served as the seat of power for the Lords of Chaos, Hadante is the hammer that keeps its people in fear. Built into one of the many large asteroids that surround Hadante most of the base is actually built inside of the asteroid via a series of man-made caverns and tunnels lined in turadium and durasteel. The interior of the small, city-like shadow port is a dangerous and very slum-like collection of towers, skyscrapers, and heat pipes built within the central cavity of the main asteroid. These buildings continue outward into the shipyards that protrude from the asteroid. Floating nearby, connected by planetary tethers to the asteroid are small shokita stations modified by MandalMotors more than a decade ago to repair and construct starships, adding to the productivity of the shipyard portion of the asteroid.
DEFENSES
Hadante Prime is a heavily defended station armed with turbolasers and point-defense lasers as its main deterrent. It is also protected by the myriad of ships that surround it in various stages of completion and retrofitting. Its main strategy of defense though is stealth. Constructed into a large asteroid and kept afloat with thrust trace dampners it keeps its electronic and heat signatures down when it is threatened with discovery. As it orbits Hadante it is often difficult to pinpoint where the station will be without first knowing exactly where within the asteroid field it is. It also makes use of stolen technology from all around the Galaxy, usually defunct Major Factions such as the Sith Empire, One Sith, and Mandalorians but sometimes its neighbors such as the Chiss Ascendancy.

POINTS OF INTEREST

The Forge: The Forge is where most of the slaves find work. The Forge is where raw materials are manufactured into the crude weapons and armor that fill the ranks of the Lords of Chaos. Its also where much of the weapons and armor for the Lords of Chaos are stored. It is a massive building in the center of the asteroid's mini-city originally designed exclusively as a large power plant. The building has since seen vast modifications creating the dual purpose Forge.

Shipyards: Just outside of the physical asteroid and floating around the immediate area of the asteroid is a small shipyard. While big enough to service and construct smaller cruiser and corvette size ships it only is capable of holding one Star Destroyer sized ship. Slaves mostly work on the ships here as well with a few loyal members able to find work as guards and shipwrights. It is no doubt the most dangerous place to have a job as the smaller shokita-class stations tethered to the main station are often pelted with debris, some of it flying at speeds quick enough to decapitate and mutilate beings unlucky enough to be outside.

Hangar: The station's hangar is fairly large able to hold several dozen starfighters and shuttles. It is the only way on and off the station.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Originally created hundreds of years ago by the Chiss Ascendancy the station that would become known as Hadante Prime was a small listening post built within the asteroid. Fast forward hundreds of years and dozens of wars and the station had become a shadow port of sorts. Used mostly by scavengers they had begun the construction of what would become the base for the Lords of Chaos' most well defended station in the Redoubt Cluster. When the Lords of Chaos found the station and Hadante they took it swiftly as the station was only defended by scavengers and a few pirates. Those who did not bow down quickly were dispatched either on the station or jettisoned from the airlocks. Those that remained either joined the Lords ranks or became slaves themselves, using their skills as salvagers to construct Hadante Prime.

  • Please link the relevant submissions.

  • Faction-affiliated technology is available to that faction alone, unless the original submitter modifies the submission or gives permission outside that. Understand that using specific technologies belonging to those factions is a violation of Factory rules. If you have such intentions, please remove that line.

Wouldn't the shipyards and the tethered space stations utterly nullify the 'hidden in plain sight' shtick of the station proper? Hiding a hub inside an asteroid is hardly effective when you surround it by shipyards and a host of other technology. Clarify this point for me, please.

[member="Netherworld"] They are already linked?

The tech in question is free use or from either factions no longer in existence or canon factions that don't have a Chaos Faction connected to them after removing mention of Iron Empire, does that rule still apply to dead factions?

You have links for the Lords of Chaos faction, the Foundry stations, the planet, and the cluster. There's no link for the "Shokita stations modified by MandalMotors". Please add one – either in the Links section or in the text.

The Affiliation remains. If you want to use any of those tech/starship/vehicle subs, you have to show how you a) came into posession of them or b) get permission from submitters.

Consider that there's not a bunch of people running around with OP or OS ships now that the factions are dead. It's a perfectly valid move to steal them, but you'll actually have to do that, not simply claim ownership in a submission.

My suggestion would be to check with the Factory admin or RPJs on how to approach this, as they'll be able to give you the most accurate answers.

[member="Netherworld"] the foundry station submission should already state that foundry stations are masses of modified shokita stations. This sub is a location sub on a foundry station. If that wasn't clear where would be best to add that information?

I also think there is a misunderstanding with regards to the stolen tech. When I say that I don't mean literal ships I just mean salvaged parts that are common in starships like the hull and scanners etc. Not the literal ships themselves. There isn't going to be a Star Destroyer from the One Sith just sitting on the station ready to fire.
