Himiko Ota's obsession with cybernetics grew in her teenage years when she ran with a swoop gang of mod-junkies, women obsessed with pushing cybernetic enhancements to the extreme. Throughout her career she has slowly accumulated a lifetime of implants, her humanity a shadow of its former self. Following her devastating defeat on Ilum and the immolation of her body, Himiko was forced to start from scratch, but desired to pass the lengthy process of individual implants with a singular cybernetic superstructure to make up her entire being.

The cybernetic superstructure runs from her feet up to her neck, where it connects to the few remaining parts of her that remain organic. She stands an imposing seven feet tall, four arms with an array of utilities and weapons for self defence. Although Hacks has no training in combat, neither formal or informal, she sees a desperate need to protect herself as her list of enemies continue to grow by each passing day.

Following a theft by Himiko, under the guise of her alias Hacks, and her friend Johnny Diamonds, she was able to obtain two freighters of cargo containing cybernetic implants from Nakaioma Corporation and Locke and Key Mechanics. The haul from that slicing job has been instrumental in providing the necessary tech to complete her dreams and final vision for her true self, to completely push body enhancements to the most extreme.
