Haakun'a Matatya - The Drunken Master

“If we’ve avoided a world of hurt, why would it be a good idea to go after her?” The Forgotten shrugged. “It’s your call, Ashin, but with our track record, I’m almost afraid of what adventure going after her would drag us into.” He said that last part with a smirk. “I never thought meeting Rach would lead me into this whole save-the-galaxy-from-Sivter thing.”

They stopped as they came up to the Hidden Dragon. Asemir looked longingly at the tavern, wishing for its relative peace and quiet. But he let out an exasperated sigh. “Oh, what the heck, let’s go after her. What’s the sense of living if there’s no adventure?”

"They're as likely to be allies as enemies. They're total wild cards -- one was a Sith Master, one a militant Jedi Master. Both of them are people you and I might consider equals. Peers, anyway. And...well, they're both my grandmothers. Grandmother and step-grandmother, anyway. I'm...more than a little curious."

He half frowned at her inquiry, as she spun around to confront him. "Really? Did you REALLY just ask that question?" he asked her directly, his right hand raising to his forehead to rub his brow. "You know what I do for a living, right? I mean, when I am not coming to your rescue, I have built myself quite the little information empire," he quipped.

"Relax, your clothes are clean," he added, knowing exactly what suspicions her mind was feeding. "Though, if you feel you need to get out of them to feel more at ease..." he said, elongating those last words for emphasis.

"Hold still," he said, moving her extended arms out of the way dismissively with his right hand, inspecting her for further injuries, he circled her once, slowly pacing around, his hands tracing along her ribs momentarily. "Two... maybe three broken..." he said, his right hand noting they felt slightly out of place. "Though, I suppose in the grand scheme of things, seeing as you can walk under your own power, it's a victory by your accounts," he said, shaking his head, as he took a step back, having checked her over as well as one could in a public setting; he needn't draw too much attention to their presence.

“I bet you would like that, wouldn’t you?” She didn’t bat him away when he came in close, although she couldn’t hide the scowl that formed on her face. Other than that, she was surprisingly obedient. “Don’t worry, you don’t have to cut off my shirt, this time.”

Ah yes, the little restarting the heart incident.

A tremble ran through her lithe form at his touch. “Stop that tickl—ouch, OUCH.” A sharp inhale through her nose and grimace expressed the truth behind his observation. “I’m. Fine,” words were laced with a stubborn insistence. Myrtle ellipses traveled back the way they had come.

“…but I have a feeling we won’t be in a couple of seconds. That chick is surrounded by so much darkside mojo, she makes me wanna throw up. And the guy she’s with…not sure about him but if he keeps company with someone like that,” her voice trailed off as she shot Patches with a worried expression.

"Maybe you should get back to the ship." She would never admit this but if anything happened to the information broker, she would never be the same person again.

“I bet you would like that, wouldn’t you?”

"Not as much as you'd think," he quipped with a grin, for the moment trying to get her mind off her current set of circumstances and discomfort, "Medichlorians might do wonders for lifting rocks and moving air, but it leaves much to be desired when it comes to complexion and perkiness," he quipped, if for no other reason than to get her mind off of the few broken ribs.

"Maybe you should get back to the ship."

He took a look around, surveying the scene to see if they were being pursued, and decided it was best not to linger to find out any further. "You're absolutely right," he said calmly, his eyes darting from Tahira to behind them, and back to Tahira, "Shall we?" he asked in a tone that wasn't so much a question, but rather a statement, with it's intentions quite clear.

I am not going back without you.
