H.T.E. Triceratops is designed to move troops and artillery around the battlefield. Though it's a workhorse of any battle field, it can be used to carry ammo to frontline, evacuate injured personnel. Also bring mines or materials to anywhere it is required. This was the reason it was tracked, rather than repulse lift as if was damaged the sudden crash may damage what was inside. As a result of this it was not as fast or as maneuverable as other armoured personal carriers, though as result it came with better defence including a deflector shield to protect thick armour.
The troops were deployed from the rear of the, so they had the A.P.C. as cover. The two gunners, had access to thul reaper which helped cut down any infantry it may be facing, and a grenade launcher to help cover the crew members, as they got out. The infantry could also recharge spent power packs, and other H.T.E. equipment such as power armour and the such.
