Description:
The troop truck. A staple of soldier deployment since the dawn of mechanized warfare. With the steadily increasing military activities of her clan, Zenva has set about designing her own "troop truck." The H-SDV1 is focused around deploying as many warriors as possible, in a safe and reliable way. To ensure that warriors reach the battlefield "The Truck" has been layered in some of the most durable metals available, Trimantium and Durasteel. Beneath this heavy armor rests the best shield generators Blood Hunter's Iron Works has installed in a small vessel to date. These layers of defense are further aided by a flare deployment system, designed to draw targeting missile systems away from the H-SDV1.
The soldier bay is a two tiered staging area capable of housing Fourty (40) warriors in full combat gear. When the H-SDV1 lands the two loading doors drop down for soldiers to exit the vessel, each door acting as a loading ramp. Soldiers in the upper tier descend spiralled ramps to reach the lower level, these are located immediately aft of the entrance ramps ensuring quick deployment.
Beneath the vessel is a series of clamps, winches and cables all designed to carry an external vehicle or vehicles depending on size. The H-SDV1 is capable of deploying up to four (4) swoop bikes, two moderate sized speeders, or one large vehicle; such as a main battle tank. In addition to this vehicle development system "The Truck" sports two cargo drop pods. These are typically used for resupplying soldiers already in the field. Each one is equipped with a repulser lift which will slow the pod's descent, allowing the pod to land safely and intact. The pods have a cargo capacity of roughly six metric tons each, and are designed to be used for any kind of storage, from munitions to food supplies.
