im thinking of creating a 2nd race of midvinter.
based on the Celts and Scott's. aka a bunch of drunken mental cases.

Do you mean a separate species from the Valkyri? Or a subculture of them?

If its a separate species, it'd be the third species on the planet (Valkyri and the Beorni being the other two).

Not sure if this will help you much, but the basis of the idea is already there. The only thing I have not done is the sub for the species.

If you want, they could be your Scots ..
