- Midnight Blade: The signature weaponry of the Wardens of the Shroud, the Shroudsaber's blade is black, with a glowing white edge. This is the unique blade design for the Wardens, found nowhere else.
- Synthetic Kyber Crystal: Shroudsabers are built using a synthetic Kyber Crystal. The crystal is unstable and thus the blade snap crackle pops, emitting a forge's array of sparks and embers.
- Twins: These two lightsabers are identical in design, able to be linked together to form a saberstaff.

- Vulnerable Against LS-Resistant Materials: The usage of a synthetic crystal renders the Shroudsabers prone to sudden shutdowns when it comes into contact with lighsaber-resistant materials, such as cortosis.
- Can't Function Underwater: The inherent instability of its synthetic crystal meant that a failsafe had to be installed to shutdown the weapon if it comes into contact with too much water, rendering it incapable of being used underwater or in high-humidity conditions.
- Saberstaff Weaknesses: If the staff is sliced in the center, it can render the staff form unusable until fixed. Furthermore, the staff form's longer hilt makes the weapon more vulnerable as well.
The Wardens of the Shroud's new initiate, Gwyneira Craft, was tasked to make a shroudsaber like the rest of the Wardens. Of course, being both a crafter and an artist, Gwyneira poured everything inside her into this project. She wanted a lightsaber design that was versatile and diverse, allowing for multiple uses and functions. The result of this was not one but two shorudsabers. Twins, able to connect into a single saberstaff. Both lightsabers are made to be beautiful to the eyes, also having the signature red sashes that can be clipped on and off at will.
