Gun Run [Adiara]

"What are you doing?"

Ellya was confused.

"Leave me alone!"

In fact, she was a lot more than that. She was terrified of what was going on around her. She hated these things. She knew some people around her were wanting to do very bad things with her. Why did they have to bully blind people? Why did they have to pick on anyone at all?

"I'm going to shout if you don't go away!"

One of the... six -- Ellya guessed the amount of people -- bullies had taken Seeyeh away from her and now she was left completely defenseless. She didn't have any knowledge of how the Force works or how it is to be used, nor could she use any weapons, not even speaking of having any.

"HEEEEEELPPP!"
She thought that would do, as she screamed out of her lungs, making her throat ache. Hopefully somebody could hear her.

"Don't forget, Drelas!"

Adiara cringed as he casually strolled away from the group of ruffians, he hated to be referred to by his surname. There was something disrespectful about it, for one, and besides he didn't want to be reminded of his origin every five seconds. Whatever, at least now he had his task he could get off this damned planet and head into the vast void of space. Olvan wasn't too far, but that didn't mean he couldn't enjoy the solitude that would be gained during the travel.

It was then that he heard it, the utter distress in the cry for help had him set his jaw tightly. It was rather shrill. Glancing around it wasn't difficult to see the source, and for a moment Adiara dipped his head low and continued to walk on by as if he hadn't seen anything. But the girl seemed rather young, he could tell she was Miralukan... And he also knew that the individuals who were doing this to her were little more than children. Ugh, what could it hurt?

"Hey, pick on someone else, will'ya? There's nothing great about torturing the blind. Scram!"

He waved his hand some as he neared the group of six, and at the sight of him they backed up some - clearly they hadn't been wanting to draw the attention of an adult. The time he had bought proved enough, for even as the children regained their composure and began to move towards him a police droid appeared and began to chase after them. Adiara waited for his heart rate to return to normal before stepping over to the girl and carefully laying a hand on her shoulder.

"C'mon, let's get you out of here."

Humanity could be cruel at times.

Ellya felt, truth to be told, amazed that somebody had heard her. Her voice wasn't one of the most loud ones in the galaxy and for her, it was a huge difficulty to make herself hearable to a larger group then three people. This time, she had given everything she had inside -- all of her hopes, fright, shock -- to form a shout.

And somebody had heard that.

"Thank you!" she said to the man who had scared the men away. It wasn't a typical thing that the girl was thankful for anybody at all, but this time she truly was. She couldn't even imagine what the bullies could have done to him if he stepped between her and the group to save her.

"Who are you, may I ask?" Ellya continued. She didn't know in what direction she should look to direct her eyes to the man's, and she didn't even try at that time. The person had understood she was blind, so there was no need to fake anything.
