-Chailindria-

The man walked up onto the stage in front of the massive building. "We are here today to open the Gulag Plauge Commemorative Center. With its state of the Art scientific, production, and research facilities. It will change the galaxy for the greater good. Today we honor those who died during the Plague and the 400 year darkness that followed. As well as those who survived to change the Galaxy, for good or for bad, we would not be here today if it was not for the men and women who tried their hardest to improve the galaxy in their own unique way, or joined forces with others and changed it together. For we would not be the same without them. A few of you in this crowd may have known about this project a long, long time ago. Others will not have, it doesn't matter, for we know each and every person in this crowd strives to change the galaxy everyday, each in their own way.Today we shall not discriminate anyone, this centre is open to all today, and forever. This facility is dedicated to science and research, Planning and building. Today we build for the better, today we change the future!" The man's words magnified by the many microphones around him, some recording his speech for the news, others translating his speech into words for the deaf and others translating his words into braille for the blind. "I hereby open the Gulag Plague Commemorative Center to the galaxy, for its good and the good of all mankind!" A tumulous applause greeted the last words as countless people, scientists and civillians alike, rushed into the building, a large map was in the lobby, pointing to places such as the mining facility that mined the planets natural ores and the shops that sold those ores, the food empourium housing restaurant's from all over the galaxy, or the Robotics lab that housed state or the art programming devices and the newest models of droids, the Biomedical lab filled with the best med technology in the galaxy would be appealing to some as well. And there were still more locations, Tech Research Centers, library's full of books on just one subject or maybe you wanted to visit the ship archive filled with designs dating back to the Old Republic and newer designs, but not details on, ships like the Captivator-class cruiser or the Redundance-class corvette, the list went on and on, or the computer labs dedicated to better speeder energy efficency at the top of the tower. The 9 year wait for the center had, obviously, been worth it.

OOC: Go and enjoy yourselves guys I plan on subbing this in the Codex sometime in the future, maybe for the contest I don't know yet, but this should be fun to have in the galaxy regardless. Have fun, I'll be posting some as Titan, and if you have an idea for an area post that you're in that area(Using the Template below)*, fine by me just keep the number of area's realistic. Abraxis entered the building, he had mostly ignored the speech, and headed directly for the Weapons Research Department. He was going to do some research there on light weapons and what you could do with them...

It was very strange.

Irajah moved within the crowds, looking around with a certain calm curiousity. Partly at the displays and projects. But also partly at the people. Maybe it was just her. But there was something almost perverse about the new center. She frowned, ever so slightly, wondering if any of these people really understood. And then chided herself for that. It was better that they didn't.

She shifted through the crowd in silence, more like a wraith than a woman, long sleeved tunic covering her from chin to finger tips in loose, flowing fabric, hiding deep bruises. Her short dark hair bounced in tight curls around her pale face as she looked around. She hadn't yet found what she was looking for, but she was certain they must have it. For all that this place was a celebration, she knew that it must be here.

She let herself be swept along with the masses, a solemn speck in the festival like atmosphere. She was looking for something in particular.

A history of the plague itself.

Titan entered the building, heading straight for the Ship Archives, where both the most ancient and recent designs of mass produced starships were housed. It would be heaven for him, at least now that he was at the helm of Clan Kryze Shipyards the Centre was welcoming and friendly; Not to mention impressive. Which reminded him, he should talk to the owners of the facility about leasing some of their shipyards in the facility.

Name: Pizza Hutt
Wing: Same as the Food Emporium
Description: Situated inside the Food Emporium, the Pizza Hutt location serves pizzas, caf and tihaar

Charzon wasn't personally there for the opening of the GPCC, or even Marcia or Jessica but Kolda, the financing specialist in the accounts receivable team, was there on behalf of the staff. On behalf of the Ringovindian government, he was there to proceed with the opening of a Pizza Hutt location and was going to eat the first pizza served at that location. He sees a long line of patrons forming up all wanting their share of pizzas... while he was going to add Ringovinda StarYards' entries in the Ship Archives once he is done eating.

Titan exited the Archives, after registering CKS's ships in it, and headed for the top of the tower where he had his meeting. He went through the customary security checks and entered the elevator. Titan hit the button that would take him to the top floor. He was acompanied by 4 of the building's security guards, like he couldn't dispose of them if he wanted, and entered the meeting room. At the head of the table was John Schniffenheimerbachinseki, the head of the GPCC's security division. "You said you had some fighter designs that may be of interest?" He said in a somewhat highpitched voice.

"I believe that is the case." Titan replied. John gestured to one of the chairs, "Take a seat." As Titan sat down, John continued, "As you are probably aware, this centre is defenceless other than the small amount of security we have, you have a few different starfighter designs and we need ships, we have money, you want money. Name your price." Titan sat there for a moment before replying, "Shipbuilding facilities here, on Chailindriea in your Ship building area." John leaned back in his chair, his suprise at the price was evident, "And how much of the facilities?" Titan took off his helmet, revealing his white, Arakanian, buzz cut hair, "50%, of all of the ship facilities."

"No." John's reply was blunt. Titan smirked, "You said so yourself, You need better security. I'm just proposing what I think is a fair trade. Take it or leave it, your choice." John sat up straighter, "We don't have to buy from you." Titan started polishing the top of his helmet, "I know that, but you won't find the same type of fighters, nor the same quaility." The tension in the air grew with every sentence exchanged between the two and everyone else in the room could feel it. "They might be better than you." John stated a fact, they might be better than Titan's ships, they might not. "We'll give you 25%."
