Incredibly slow and barely maneuverable
No offense weaponry beyond the laser cannons
Description:
As the second ship in the Sin series, the Gula-class Fleet Carrier is designed to balance out a major problem that Darth Arcanix noticed during the Second Battle of Manaan. While the Sith fleet had outnumbered the Republic fleet in starfighters, mainly because of the hanger space of the Immortal, they did not have a carrier ship devoted entirely to deploying fighter craft.
The Gula-class Fleet carrier is designed mainly around deploying its seven squadrons, and using those to punch the enemy fleet hard. Along with the enlarged hanger space, the Gula boasts eighty point-defense lasers and twenty flak guns to protect itself and its allied ships from hostile attack craft.
The Gula does have some drawbacks, primarily its weak engines and extremely low offensive weaponry. The Gula's engines make it so the ship is incredibly slow and has to stay back from any of the main action, or risk being destroyed before it can escape a capital ship attack. Only twenty laser cannons amount to its offensive weaponry, but even that is more geared towards defending itself from light capital ships like corvettes and light frigates.
