DESCRIPTION

Smallcraft can make the difference in any engagement, which is why every fleet needs dedicated anti-fighter warships. The Guardian-class Point Defense Frigate is the Sith Covenant’s answer to that need. Produced by Kuat Drive Yards, these light frigates are armed with a combination of laser cannons, flak guns, and other point-defense weaponry. However, because it is not unusual for fighter and bomber wings to be escorted by gunships and corvettes, the Guardian-class also comes equipped with several turbolaser cannons.

Overall, the Guardian-class is a sensible KDY design that can be deployed as an anti-fighter escort, serve in local defense fleets, or in an anti-piracy role on the trade lanes.
