Description:
Designed by MandalArms R&D to be the personal flagship of Gerarich Thanor, this unique vessel meets all of the experienced naval commander's specifications and is an excellent command vessel. A crew of 4,560 is the minimum needed amount to man the ship, however, 37,750 is the number to run the ship at 100% efficiency.

The cargo capacity is capable of carrying up to 29,500 metric tons and the ship has enough consumables for 5 1/2 years. To avoid paying for costly new ships, the GT-1 Stardestroyer is easily repairable and can also efficiently be expanded or upgraded. The GT-1 is also capable carrying up to 1 legion, about 9,200 soldiers. The ships in the hangar are always switched out constantly before missions, depending on the situation. The ship is also designed to be able to board any size of ships without complexity.

Armed with powerful weapons, strong shields, and thick armor, this destroyer is capable of holding its own in combat against most other ships in its class. Designed as a command ship, it can fulfill a multitude of mission roles, from the front line to landing troops, to boarding enemy craft, to long-range patrols. It covers all the bases without being too mission specialized.
 
[member="Gerarich Thanor"], this is about two ratings too high now. Since production is aleady at unique, you can lower ratings from wherever you and/or add significant weaknesses to help balance this out.
 
[member="Gerarich Thanor"], to clarify, significant weaknesses are things that have to balance out a rating strength. To that end, they have to generally be immediately and practically exploited by most opponents ( such as not having shields on a starfighter) or having catastrophic results if exploited by a cunning opponent (like a thermal exhaust port on the Death Star). I'm not sure that if the added weaknesses meet those areas, but we might be able to work them into something that does.

Engines typically are a weak point in any design from an armoring perspective (it's hard to armor an exhaust nozzle). So this sounds pretty typical to me for many starships. For this to really be something that balances out, they could be described as being entirely exposed or without any armor and/or light shielding on the whole engine block.

This isn't something that is open for an opposing writer to exploit, because you as the writer will be deciding when it gets to that of overcharging, and even then, if it will destroy the ship. This isn't to say that you may not roleplay it fairly and destroy the ship with this weakness, but I unfortunately have to judge to the lowest common denominator, which is to say that I have not seen people actually put this into practice with their subs.

Possible alternatives to this may be that activating the gravity cannon deactivates some other important system of the ship when it's in use because of its power draw (like its shields).

Another rating would have to be lowered or significant weakness would have to be added.

I'd make it clear somewhere within the submission then that the primary weapon is the Gravitric cannon.

For how long? Just when it's firing? Is there a certain amount of time it takes for the shields to regain their full power?

In general, the more explicit the detail, the easier it will be for me to pass this (or provide guidance to getting it passed).

[member="Gerarich Thanor"], sounds solid. If you'll put that in the submission itself then (it looks like it says five minutes for part of it currently within the submission itself?).

If you'll remove your character's name from this as well. While it makes sense that only your character will be using it, technically the Mandalorian Empire is the one that solely owns this ship because of its size.
 
[member="Gerarich Thanor"], this looks good to me. I'm currently waiting on Mandal Arms to formally have "starships" added to its operations so that they can build this. Once that's done, we'll be all set.
