The GSL Official Shockball is a charged sphere of mayhem and fun. When the GSL was reborn, it required new and improved technology to bring the sport into the new age. The shockball, of course, was the first new tech brought into the league. Much like it's predecessor, the shockball is lightweight and shockingly painful when contact is made. It's electrical charge is strong enough to do it's job of knocking a player unconscious, but weak enough to not outright kill them. Unless, of course, they have a heart problem, but the GSL is protected from any fallout from that by the players' contracts anyway so that's not a worry.
