Culture: The Grn is a dangerous underground creature from the primeval period of the Asobi system. Large and powerful it has survived with dwindling numbers and as they slowly die out and eggs are destroyed with the encroachment of other species. Their eggs being destroyed drawing them into violent rampages and destructive, relentless attacks at anything that comes towards them. Their eggs are lain in the hundreds and only a few will hatch in the end (roughly 3 out of 400) and the siblings will fight each other when they cannot find suitable food or minerals.
Technology level: Does not use technology
General behavior: It spends most of its time burrowing through the earth to find food and following vibrations, rarely coming to the surface from so far down but it has been known to happen. The attacks are usually violent and devastation when it meets with civilization. The male and female search for each other for several years digging or roaming as they try and find that scent or feeling. it is instinct and can take them across an entire continent like a migrating bird. The female then can lay up to three hundred eggs but maybe one percent of them will hatch if they are lucky the others will often be eaten by the parent before they departs the nest.
History: A remnant from the time before in the Asobi system but slowly over time forced underground. The massive creature is from legend and has survived by not evolving much in terms of diet and its behavior, the eyesight that was once acute and could see like a hawk to hunt and fight has slowly diminished into a vision based sight that is still very poor. The beasts habitat in the lowest caved and tunneling through the world creating quakes leave a make as explorers of the planet find the massive caverns it has made leaving behind exposed veins and crystals deep in the earth. As civilization encroaches on its territory the Grn becomes more violent sometimes going to the surface when it is cool and attacking cities or towns then retreating as it tunnels into the earth.
