Role: Pet, pillow, and an extra set of teeth.
Links: N/A
PHYSICAL INFORMATION
  • Age: Approx. 3 years
  • Species: Nexu
  • Height: 0.94 m
  • Length: 4.51 m (1.83 without tail)
  • Weight: 90.7 kg
  • Appearance: A feline of white and brown fur and a stunning smile, Griz looks like your average Nexu to the untrained eye. Her teeth a sharpened to shredding perfection, her claws capable of tearing flesh into adorable little ribbons, she is the definition of hunter. Well, she would be if not for that right hind leg just a bit smaller than its counterpart and the little limp that just won’t go away. Let’s also not forget the quills upon her spine and long tale, suited for forest life. Her four eyes have dulled in their infrared-viewing capabilities with lack of usage, but she can still see better in that regard than any human.
SOCIAL INFORMATION
  • Name: Grizabelle; The Fantastical Nexu Supreme. More commonly known as simply ‘Griz’
  • Loyalties: Cairyn Midore
  • Notable Possessions: None
  • Personality: About as docile as a Nexu gets yet still maintaining that wild streak of purge, maim, eat, Griz is a feline that is fickle, possessive, and above all, adorable. She’ll turn her attention where she wants but you can be sure that if she wants you to pay attention to her, she’ll make it known and she won’t take no for an answer. While having never been a mother herself, she’s grown attached to Cairyn in such a way one could mistake her for a mother watching over her cub. Still, she’s not above snapping at the boy if it suits her needs. Should he forget to feed her, his own carcass may very well become her snack.
  • Training: Think the basic commands; come, sit, kill. With those also come a few more advanced tricks, courtesy of Griz’s short lived performing days. She’s capable of feats like jumping through hoops and balancing on less than stable surfaces. Cairyn’s still working on getting her to do a flip.
  • Combat Function: Griz has accepted Cairyn as her near-human and has grown to be a bit protective of what’s hers, however, she’s not so attached that she’d put herself on the line in any way beyond a lunge at an assailant’s throat. Should she ever be on the scene of combat, she’d be more of an intimidation factor than an actual asset. Not to say her claws and talons won’t do damage if they land a hit, but the likelihood that she’ll actually do anything beyond the first jump is miniscule.
HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The dynamic duo of Cairyn and Griz first began behind stage, Cairyn being the new acrobatic talent and Griz having been raised in captivity as a performance animal. With the shared histories of childhood injury and being too wild to be left unsupervised, a kinship between the two was almost instantaneously formed. For Cairyn, she was an adorably deadly piece of fluff. For Griz, he was a hairless child that by all accounts should not still be alive. Who could think of a better match? While Cairyn’s time with that performing troupe was short lived as he turned his attention toward more direct means of achieving power, the bond he made with this Nexu was one that he’d grown rather fond of. Her roar kept jealous performers spooked into submission, her fur was the ideal pillow for naps. In the moment, it seemed only right that Cairyn bring his new friend along for the ride, all the while depriving the troupe of two of their prized performers.
