OUT OF CHARACTER INFORMATION
Parasitic Control: Greivex Worm Males are parasitic and are able to take complete control of most species in the galaxy within 48 hours of being implanted in the host.
Controlled by the Hive: Greivex Worms of both genders are controlled by a greater mind, the Hive-Mind, who's over-mind is Veryiana Greivex. This makes them an easily controlled weapon, if.. the target is incapacitated. But it also stops them from getting out of control.
Sleep Toxin: Greivex Worm females, when injecting their egg into a victim, will also inject a toxin that will put the victim to sleep most of the time through small barbs along the 'tongue', this toxin lasts for around 48 hours, the needed time for the male to take complete control. The Female is also able to roughly guess the amount needed to pacify the creature for that amount of time as bigger creatures usually need more.
Hive Dependency: Should a Greivex worm be separated psionically from the hive-mind, such as through mind-tricks targeted at the worm, or a Shi'ido's, or any other telepathic species' telepathic abilities directed at the worm, then it will die within 24 hours. And if it is a male, gives back complete control to the Host's body. (I say directed at the worm, as if it is directed at the host instead, it will have no effect.)
CULTURE
NOTE: To infect another player character with the Greivex Worm you must have permission as in most cases it takes 100% control over the hostl, similar to killing them, except the worm can be removed, and thus must be condoned by the player who owns the PC. However, compromises are allowed, coming to an agreement where the player who owns the PC dictates how much control the greivex worm has over the PC.

- Homeworld: Geonosis
- Language: N/A
- Average Lifespan: [5 Years
- Estimated Population: Rare
- Description: Greivex worms are extremely sexual dimorphized, that is, look different depending on gender and have completely different rolls. The female is much much much larger (around a foot in length, or .3 meters), and through asexual reproduction produces around 10 offspring every two weeks, one of which is another female, the other 9 are males. The males are much smaller (roughly an inch or 2.5 centimeters). The female lays a singular egg, which hatches into another female, the 9 remaining eggs are kept internally, and then parasitically laid in any organism it can get it's 'hand' onto, by using small barbs along the 'tongue' to cut a deep hole into the organism, the saliva of the Greivex Worm acting as a healing agent to help seal the wound upon detachment. The male offspring, then hatches, and begins eating the creature, consuming it's DNA until it is able to fuse with the creature's nervous system (usually at the brain) to give complete control over the creature.

CULTURE
- Diet: Meat for Females, Males leech off of their hosts
- Communication: Telepathic Link
- Technology level: N/A
- Religion/Beliefs: N/A
- General behavior: Females seem docile from a distance, but if it somehow gets on the face or other orifice of an individual (usually placed their by the Greivex Construction Hive) then it attacks with primal instincts of any animal desperate to reproduce and will cling on with incredible strength as it lays an egg (which usually takes around 10 minites) and then releases it's victim into a sleep state, moving on to the next victim. A Greivex Worm female does not produce more eggs until all eggs from the previous batch have been used.
