Graveyard Shift

"No..." Maple hissed at the collapsed ceiling.

"No. No no no..." she paced, anger swelling. Her sabercane activated.

The scream of frustration that tore from her throat as she brought the blade down on the collapsed rubble drew in the archers that were still in the Dark Temple.

Falkon showed up, his silver beard glimmering in the low lighting.

"Having a spot of trouble are we?" The Leader of The Archers asked.

"Get some charges. I'm blowing this damn thing open. Wait...Y'know what? Feth it."

The lithe Hunter dangerously close to the Dark Side began gesturing for them to follow her.

"What are you going to do?" Falkon asked.

"Exar's Razor: The simplest solution is usually the best..." she trailed, immune to the evils of the temple due to the Brain Demon's protection as she exited out of it with them. She got back onto the Scarlet Phantom, starting up its primary engines. The crimson chromed H-Type Nubian began to lift...and its weapons came out.

"NOOO!" Falkon yellled. "What are you doing?!"

Laser cannon fire erupted from the ship and began to pelt the temple violently.

"You mean I get a free piggy back ride?!" the poisoned SithSpawn asked jokingly. It felt a wrench of guilt. The Amalgam planned such a slaughter that this momentary lull in a violent, bloody destiny made each moment a torture, knowing it would have to become that monster again.

There was a rumble as she got on Kay's back. She felt it. The structure was shuddering from laser blasts. She spotted in ancient Sith directions leading to the sacrifice room and strongly advised her to try and run, the blasts starting to puncture that ceiling heavily.

"That's the room. Its so strong in the dark it will 'smile' at the laser cannons." The Amalgam advised her friend, for there was nothing else to call her at this point.

"Maximum effort!" she encouraged Kay, nearly sweating bullets as the lasers fell...
