"Well I can't say completely with any true accuracy. The chiss are very secretive as you know and they could have avoided the region for a reason yet unknown or not gotten around to it. YOur expeditionary forces for exploring the frontier areas of the unknown regions and figuring what can be a potential problem should it invade and give provocation." She said it but offered a small grin. Even a small thing like that... a chance that she might have had something a chiss didn't already know... it wasn't often you could say that however small... something to be cherished but not relished. She might never in her life ever achieve something like that. "And of course, the information is both of ours to do with. I see no reason to try and keep it. This serves goals far better having even the remote chance of a not quite friend.. more someone who might regret ordering her large bodyguard to make paste of your skull."

Her hand lowers from her nose kinda hovering in the air above her chest as she stares at the woman before her, before dropping it all the way back to her waist "This information, if it is even there, will certainly help the both of us. So much has been lost in that time.. and I'm sure the Ascendancy will be grateful to you for helping us retrieve this information."

Brae strides over to one of the navigational computers, not touching anything but leaning over to examine any of the information there before turning back to [member="Sala'dine"] "What do you gain from giving this information to the Ascendancy and APEX anyway?" She asks, squinting at the woman suspiciously, after all she was Chiss and paranoia runs deep in their bloodline

Sala'dine looked at her and motioned with her hand as she was going onto the bridge. Their astrometrics and navigational rooms were made to house the more advanced computers they had developed. While the bridge had everything better opening up to reveal... a high backed chair with holograms going around it and Sala'dine sat down as it accessed and appeared for her. "Well can you tell me what the point of hording it would do?" She was curious seeing her and the chair was designed based off of old imperial designs. the holo chair for viewing screens instead of art... from the records and thanks to some crafty admiral replica of the original used by Thrawn on the Chimeara. Biometrics made it better suited for her to be able to use and lock others out. "While it can certainly give an advantage for a time it also can create animosity, strife where there doesn't need to be any. Such ire and ill will wouldn't benefit working together to advance technological breakthroughs."

"Keeping the information as an exclusive attribute of an individual and their group gives their group an edge over all the other ones. Which is why the Chiss have stayed isolationist and technologically advanced, there is a correlation between the two." She points out sounding like she's instructing a classroom or reading from an instruction manual. She glances around the peculiar room, eyes falling on the Thrawn chair replica enviously before beginning to pace impatiently. "The Chiss have made plenty of technological breakthroughs that others had nothing to do with and had no access to, until now, which is why you value Chiss for their scientific capabilities."

"I value the chiss ability to take something decent and make it extraordinary. Your technical achievements are legendary and your isolationist policy in the recent decades has fluctuated with whichever government tries to control the unknown regions. THe lords of the fringe opened your borders and a great many houses were displaced... but you were patient. The Galactic empire... one of them mostly tried to wipe you out and you rallied back reverse engineering their technology quickly and producing newer and better versions... But Kahoshi the emperor was a little tooo proud of how far he could expand without actually taking into account the people. The one sith unleashed the vong on you, let them shape and twist your lesser houses and those in lower ranks as tribute and a means so you woudln't be base delta zeroed on your worlds. The First order has mostly moved around you, the iron empire I suspect feared you, the Fel Imperium sought you to be their allies while they sat on bastion." She said it sitting in the chair and bringing up the screen to show their course and jumping the ship. "Now the chiss for the latest time in a long time haven't been having some other group niping at their heels to try and control them." She though did offer a grin. "A technical edge though is usualy good though.

Brae just absorbs this in quiet reflection, a hint of pride peeking at her lips as the curve into a faint grin. "You know far more about my people than I do of yours, whom exactly do you represent? I assume more than just yourself and corporate interests." Brae paces as she asks this question, in constant need of movement after being cramped in that fighter for too annoying long.

Her bodyguard, the Tusken, just leans against one of the steel walls, staring at her with his masked gaze, the two horns danging from his head-dress making him seem more intimidating than the average Tusken.

Brae would wander over to her guard, standing in front of him with her hands folded behind her back, inspecting his stance and readyness before grunting and turning back towards her "You must have gotten all of this equipment from somewhere."

"Well there was a time that I would have said the empire. I was a grand admiral in charge of a sector, with a fleet, stormtroopers. The Hands fo Judgement, the ground forces of my IMperial knights that were here and assigned to protect the heir to house Fel onmy crew. Then the empire started to buckle... it didn't fall but there was a fracture and the others wanted to take advantage and they tried to tear it down.. so me and Kisep another grand admiral were atacked and damaged we somehow managed to limp in a random jump towards chiss space. THey helped us and gave us a place for a time at least between groups and now I work with Sasori a larger company that produces many ships and some of the more exotic technologies."

"Interesting.." Whether she actually found this story interesting or not was not portrayed in her monotone nearly emotionless face, yet she stopped pacing finally. "How much longer until we arrive?" She was eager to get this excavation started, it held countless bounties of unknown worth that could surely help both APEX and the Ascendancy.

"And here I thought the chiss knew how to have some patience." She sat in the seat and pulled up some more images. "We'll be there to start the first part of it, searching for the remains of the supremacy that would have been recovered a d attempted to at least be reconstructed." She knew the ship had been damaged but there was also the chance of it having been largely intact it was just simply far to big to be vaporized so the pieces would be the most important thing to try and find. "There is a whole lot of steps to take for proper recovery in this case though one of which is going to be quarters for you. As I am certain any I offer will be regarded with suspicion then I leave it up to you to find ones you if you want to stay here can use. The newer security locks means you can make your own code cylinder and biometrically lock it to yourself." She sat back a little though as the star lines became real space, the desert world didn't offer much but there was the graveyard of ships including one of the last super star destroyers they had in the galaxy. The eclipse was also an important thing to see that they could work to discover.

"A room would be appreciated.. I'll go choose one now." And off she goes! Heading into the bowls of [member="Sala'dine"] Ship searching for a room that fits her taste, the beast wandering behind after her. She would search through at least a dozen, each one having slightly off about it, or something she simply didn't like aesthetically, no matter how similar they were. On the 13th room she would finally claim it, setting up the locks and sending The Beast to fetch her belongings. And then she would wait patiently for the ship to arrive at its destination

Sala'dine watched her leave but remained there looking at the ship while it was coming about. The small stealth destroyer was made for getting around without dangers or problems... so she was looking at what the other crew on the bridge were properly doing going about their business. Her chiss XO stood off to the side and had her hands clasped behind her back. "She is dangerous admiral." There was a small look. "Maybe but then that is exactly what I was told about you once upon a time. The difference between having a dangerous element that is unchecked and having a dangerous element that has a reason to want to work with you. Is night and day, the Admiral has an interest in what we are searching for and that interest will work to make her at least want to play nice." She didn't really worry about the danger of it before they were coming down towards Jakku in the desert. Sand was getting kicked up from the ship landing on one of the dunes and over looking the remains of the citadel... the massive observation base that had been created on the planet to house research and information about the beacons sent out into the unknown regions. As a means to light the way forward.

Brae is completely unaware as to their location or how close they are to arriving, having brought an actual paper book with her which she sits in her new quarters reading quietly. She was also contemplating, contemplating the probable danger she could be in and what was the best way of dealing with it, but she doubted this Admiral really planned on harming her in any way, after all, she would have to answer to the Ascendancy. So she sat quietly in her room, thinking of possible escape strategies, or what sort of information they were to find on this planet, or just eyeing her guard and 'suggesting' ways he may improve.

She had a small chance when the ship was down and they were giving it plenty of time to set up. Changing her uniform from the more dress like and respectable to a sleeker combat bodysuit she could wear. ABle to prevent the sand from getting itno it and temperature regulation while drones flew off to search outside the ship. Jakku held many mysteries and Sala'dine went to go and meet the other Admiral with a look on her face bringing her saber, the vibroblade that was more like a dueling rapier and her combat pistol. Verpine technology engineered into a semi auto fire rail gun pistol she could have lolng range shots from or close.

"Admiral Brae, we have arrived." She looked at the chrono and set the time to coordinate with the remotes that were outside in the desert. Clasping her hands behind her back while she shook her hair out over her shoulders backing up to the other side of the hallway. She had chosen one of the more strange places but that was fine, the randomness of her searching for a room had been well good meant they couldn't if they were going to even want to try and bug it. Though noble effort until she was moving. "WHenever you are ready to begin, if you want there is some skylar compression pieces to prevent sand from getting everywhere."

Sand.. Brae hated sand, and memories of her small expedition onto Tatooine come flooding into her mind. She opened her go-bag, equipped with everything she might need to survive on any environment should she survive a crash landing on a planet, within the bag she pulls several mute colored cloths, which she curls around her body as if a commoner desert dwellers garbs. Chiss were easily noticed, so the head-dressing covered the obvious features such as her skin and eyes, and the muted rags would help her blend into the sandy environment, so she made her way to the admiral.

She knew she looked very unprofessional as she strode into the room, putting her hair into a ponytail and then beginning to fix the headdress "I'm too easy to notice.. and very few share your appreciation for my species."

Sala'dine looked at her and gave a nod of her head with a look over at her beast as she started to walk. "Well this won't be such a bad thing. Who knows maybe you'll grow to enjoy my company in these travels. Or at least give one of those sinister smiles your people can make where you just imagine they are thinking of ways to kill you." She shrugged and the destroyers doors opened to the landing bay with one of the vehicles. Six wheeled and built like a mini tank but made to be fast so they could get around the dunes here. She was looking out the hanger bay doors at the citadel itself in the distance and she was climbing in while some fo the recon drones went around. Bringing holographic maps of the citadel they had scouted and a path there across the dunes avoiding the crashed pieces of star ship.

Brae rolls her eyes at this remark "We'll see." and with that, she trudges out into the sandy wasteland. She clutches the robes around her body, glaring out at the environment with pure hatred, the heat already starting to get to her. "Why does it have to be a desert.." She then heads to the vehicle, dragging her hand along its hull as if inspecting whether or not it'll collapse or explode. She then looks back to [member="Sala'dine"] and nods, satisfied with the craftsmanship, as she had been with everything she had come across so far on this ship. "How fast can we get there in this?"

She looked at her and had a grin. "Fast enough, if the worse happens it can use its boosters and six wheel drive to get up the dunes." She opened the door and there were some of the droids wet up. In the corner the war droids, compacted and ready for a fight if need be but she wasn't suspecting a problem. The rekali sphere hovering around and tracking where they went as she climbed in and waited for the two. Later afterwards the doors closed the the cool air was ready before she sat down and they were heading off into the distance. The bunker that led to the observatory was plain but there were ships above it. She checked it out while waiting and the vehicle sped up when it was getting into the open sands, booster going when it pressed low and ready for a jump just incase the thrusters were set up. Sala'dine watched from the seat as the combat engineers were working professionally then brought them to a stop fifteen minutes later. Outside the entrance of the bunker while the sight of a section of star destroyer loomed over them. She started walking out and activating the droids to guard the entrance for them as their weapons activated, then the sphere were cloaking and going into a patrol mode.

Brae simply followed the woman, getting into the compact vehicle and shifting uncomfortably as she inspected the inside of the vehicle, happy not to have to trudge through the thick sand and heavy heat. Yet she followed [member="Sala'dine"] around the bunker and what not as she activated the droids, finding what she was doing interesting as the Ascendancy rarely used droids.

She had a small look on her face as the doors to the bunker were opening and she stood tall. THere was little power but she couldn't see the glow lights so her glow rod came out. "No power for the lights, we are going to be in the dark." Sala'dine was walking with the glow rod from her thigh equipment back as it activated and the fireglass glowed bright blue. Thankfully it wouldn't die out easily or quickly since it recycled its own energy and was nearly inexhaustible. Sala'dine was walking in towards the remains of partially scavenged stormtrooper armor and weapons that had been sealed down here... she checked some of the weapons and they were dead the power cells long leaked away and degraded. Her attention was on more what she could find information wise or security with keycards should they get it running again.

Brae's eyes adjusted quickly to the dark, as Chiss have far better night vision than humans. Yet the light she shed certainly helped the situation. She would wander quietly behind her, gently kicking at one of the soldier's helmets as if to test its durability "What killed them..?" she finally asks "Not much could take out an imperial storm trooper.."
