Draelvasier Weaknesses

- Bigger Target: Stealth isn’t quite so easily achieved by the Draelvasier, their bodies are heavy and weighted, powerful. But this also means that they can be heard or seen coming from miles away.

- Temper: Though they care little for the opinions of other species, within Social environments Drael can quickly turn to anger when criticised. This is also partially due to Draelvasier culture, as weakness can often mean death. Thusly, quick tempers are born of both pride and anxiety.

- Xenophobia: All Draelvasier, keep to their own. All are taught of the weakness of other Sentients in the Galaxy, their purpose is to rid the Galaxy of the plague of weakness, this is their truth. No Drael would ever ally with any other Species.

- Infrared Vision: Draelvasier have infrared vision, seeing through heat. This can be a problem with explosives in combat, as high exposures of heat will blind them temporarily.

- Force Deficient: It is very rare for members of the Draelvasier to possess the force. However, as their numbers grow so too does the chances of Force Users among them. However, given the restriction of Force Users placements to areas such as Shaman, they are often regarded with lesser respect than those of purely militant station.

- Never Telekinetic: Even amongst those with force aptitude within the Draelvasier, telekinetic abilities appear to escape them no matter how hard they try.

- Sink: Most Draelvasier would find swimming much more difficult than humans, requiring greater stamina and time.

+ Skin Like Lead: These particular Draelvasier share the trait of their forefather, possessing an extreme level of resistance to heat due to the intense molecular bonding of their flesh. This affords Baedurin nigh invulnerability to blasters, and typically are much more resistant to disruptor weapons as well.

- Not so flexible: Due to the more constrictive nature of Baedurin bone structure, they are not quite capable of great agility. Due to their mass, Baedurin are not capable of flexibility or gymnastics.

- Cold Feet: The Baedurin have an incredibly low tolerance for the cold, their bodies run on fire. If their bodies are exposed to the cold weather, they will eventually short circuit and die.

Personal Strengths & Weaknesses

+/- Force Sensitive - Being force sensitive, Gordrak is one of the few Draelvasier capable of using the force. This carries the same strengths and weaknesses available to other Draelvasier. Unlike the shamans and seers however, Gordrak scorns the use of his gift and instead opts to engage in close combat.

+ Brutally Cunning or Cunningly Brutal? - Gordrak may be a savage for intents and purposes but underneath his indoctrinated zealotry and hate lies something unsettling. An intelligence that, while direct, is wholly predatory and devoted to ensuring Gordraks success.

+ Tempered Ferocity - Born with the impressive strengths of his species, Gordrak is naturally someone to be feared on the battlefield. Unlike some of his more his savage brethren, Gordrak is able to temper his hatred and zealotry in addition to his strength. Every blow he delivers is measured and no energy is wasted.

- Inexperience - Gordrak has the required training and tutelage all Bryn'adûl receive after birth. Compared to the other, older Bryn'adûl, he's relatively inexperienced. He seeks battle readily to rectify this flaw.

APPEARANCE:

Gordrak is a Baedurin of slightly above average height and build. A dark red chitinous carapace covers a layer of scaly brownish/tan skin. In addition to an imposing stature, a fanged maw and golden predatory eyes round off his defining features. Gordrak adorns himself with a primitive looking set of rags and armor strapped to his body. Chains, a hunting knife, and a bandolier/belt worn over the shoulder round out what he wears.

BIOGRAPHY:

The Baedurin known as Gordrak was born from the pairing of two particularly savage Bryn'adûl. Shortly thereafter, the Kad’Maera taught Gordrak everything he was required to know in Bryn'adûl society. Shortly after the martial training, Gordrak was subjected to the two week long trial of Bedla’korum. Thriving in the environment and off of the challenge itself, Gordrak passed and was inducted into one of the higher castes. Eventually Gordrak made his way into the vicious ranks of the Bryn'adûl Brutes where he has since been waiting for an opportunity to prove himself.
