Good Morning (Dawn)

It took about a week before [member="Dawn"] was ready to be moved, and another in the bacta tank for her to be able to move more or less freely. She would have her scars, but she would be able to be back to the front lines soon enough. That was an unpleasant thought. The Order needed her to fight the Sith, needed both of them, but she didn't want to loose Dawn. not another painful loss.

Sighing in the confides of her room on the Freeheart, she pulled up the old Jedi account that had never deactivated. Anarya had sent another message, asking if Saran would come back to Ossus, and if so, when. The Miraluka stared at the message. Would she loose Anarya, too? Maybe. Ashla was kind some days, but the Knight had learned not to count on it. Typing up a reply, she informed her sister that she would return soon, but that she may not see her. There were other matters that needed attending.

Standing, she went to look for Dawn. Surely the girl was somewhere around here....

I wandered through the halls of the base on Sanctuary. I wasn't supposed to be walking around for this long but I had gotten too antsy just resting in my room. I wanted to explore the base. So far the base hadn't been too interesting, but it was better than lying in bed. I turned a corner and opened the nearest door. "What was that? Hey! Who are you?" A voice yelled in my direction. My eyes widened as I quickly closed the door and ran in the other way.

[member="Saran Drast"]

Saran was walking towards the medbay when she heard Sergeant Damion's voice react. Probably the girl exploring. Turning on her heels and struggling to get her officer look on, Saran rounded the corner to a red-faced officer. "I'll handle it from here." she said, stepping past the sergeant.

"Yes ma'am. Who was that?"

"A guest who's in the wrong wing. Nothing major." With a nod, he left. The knight looked around, then reached out in the Force. [member="Dawn"], where are you?

Probably somewhere I'm not supposed to be. I'm heading back to the medbay now. I turned left as I spoke through the froce. Did he follow me? I turned my head to look. No one was there. While I wasn't looking I bumped into someone. I tripped backwards and fell to the floor. "Sorry. I didn't see you there." I looked up to see Saran. "Um... hi, Saran." I said as I failed to shrink away.

[member="Saran Drast"]

Saran's footsteps padded softly through the halls. In a simple pair of clothes rather than the normal uniform, she almost seemed to glide along the floors as a ghost, out of place and avoided. So when she felt [member="Dawn"] run into her, it came as a bit of a shock. "Hey, Dawn." She extended a hand down to help the girl up. "If you have anything that you want to grab from the Medbay, grab that quickly. Otherwise, meet me in the hanger bay. We're leaving." Before the girl could reply, she turned around, headed for the ship. Her mind wandered to the doubts she harbored. Was she right to stay out of the war? Should she try to keep Dawn out of it? And what about Anarya? She had survived so far, but how much longer would that last? How long would her little sister be there to guide her?

sitting outside the ship, she noted the missed call from Anarya. She would need to return that once Dawn was there.

I grabbed [member="Saran Drast"]'s extended hand, a bit surprised that she wasn't scolding me for wandering around. "Really? Um... Ok. I'll get to that." I turned and ran down the hall towards the Medbay. I tripped slightly as one of my legs started to give out. I steadied myself against the wall and reminded myself I wasn't completely healed. I walked into the room where the med droid immediately started fussing over me. Where have you been. You should be in bed resting. I grabbed my comlink and training lightsaber from the room. I sighed, "Yeah, yeah. I know. We're leaving. Bye." I turned and headed for the ship. I boarded Saran's ship and called to her, "So where to now?"

Dawn had walked past her. Saran smiled for a moment, then stood up slowly, walking with trained grace until she was behind the padawan. "Ossus." she replied, directly behind her. "Come on. We'll have a few hours, so we can train if you think you're up for it." Poking her head into the cockpit, she told the droid to get ready to launch. Sitting in a chair, and strapping herself in, she turned to [member="Dawn"]. "You may want to strap yourself in."

The voice that came from behind me made me jump in surprise. A smile grew on my face as I remembered I hadn't been surprised like that since we were both padawans. I moved to the other chair and strapped myself in before I replied to [member="Saran Drast"]. "I'm well enough to do some training. But don't go too hard on me. I do Not want to go back to being in a medbay. It was sooo boring there." There was a pause as I thought for a second about Ossus. "How long has it been since you've returned to Ossus?"
