Rationale: The Golden Nautolan Casino was first found and used by the Ravens during their Dominion of Nar Shaddaa. Having grown accustomed to the luxuries provided by the Dragon Palace during their off hours, it was decided that the Golden Nautolan would serve the same purpose on Nar Shaddaa as the Red Ravens base of operations in the sector as well as solidifying their presence as the current criminal supreme of the infamous Smugglers Moon.
The owners at the time were given two options. Sell out, or be forcibly retired. Unsurprisingly, particularly as they were given a relatively fair offer, they chose to sell out.
It is understood that it will always be owned by whoever controls the Ravens.

The Golden Nautolan Casino is an incredible 9,300,000-square-foot luxury casino and hotel resort owned by the Red Ravens. The Nautolan is a 53-story, 3.4 billion credit investment. The resort has 2,900 suites available, with additional convention space for future endeavours on entertainment and business. It also holds 550,000-square-feet of casino space, with a whopping 4300 slot machines, 10,500 gambling tables, and a 15,000 seat arena for live entertainment and sports events. The casino hires thousands of bodyguards for purposes of prevention of cheating and maintaining security with no shift having less coverage than any other. Weapon scanners and sensors sit at the all entrances into the casino. All entrances are also equipped with a small fog machine for 'mood', the area of effect being watched very closely on both camera and by at least one organic.
While it's various venues have different themes and moods to suit almost every client, the predominant colour scheme is as one might guess, gold.
