Estimated Population: ~1 Million

Average height of adults: 9-25 Meters
Average length of adults: 18-50 Meters

Hair color: None
Distinctions: The Goi is an incredible beast. Giant, bigger than most personal starships and light freighters these massive creatures have long whip-like tails, long, strong necks and massive bodies. With a thick skin and strong shoulders it isn't uncommon to see entire settlements built atop the backs of several of these monsters.

Breathes: Type I
Strengths:
  • Titanic: Good luck killing this by yourself. While it may seem like a lumbering mass of flesh and bone. Their massive bodies can soak up a massive amount of blaster fire before being taken down and its feet alone could crush most personal starships. Their long tails can even create sonic booms when cracked like a whip, tearing through most primitive structures and throwing wind strong enough to change the course of starfighters slightly.
  • Weight Bearing: Because of their titanic size they can easily pull and heft large amounts of weight. Some Daorians even use small herds of Goi and construct dwellings and small settlements.
Weaknesses:
  • Incredibly Stupid: The Goi is a very stupid animal. Even when being attacked they often don't realize until its almost too late.
  • Heailing Debuff: The Goi does not take bone damage well. Broken legs or tails are a death sentence to the massive beasts and ribs can take months to heal without rest.
  • Can't Swim: These beasts can't swim

Races:
  • Dwarf Goi: The Dwarf Goi only grows to about 9 meters tall and 18 meters long. They also have slightly longer life spans than the average Goi.
  • Titan Goi: The Titan Goi can grow up to twice the size of a standard Goi at 50 meters tall. They are incredibly rare and are considered a myth, though their remains have been unearth throughout the desert sands.

Diet: Omniverous
Communication:
  • Roars
  • Moans
  • Growls
  • Reptile sounds
Culture: Once hunted for great feasts the Goi became a popular means of transportation and even a means of living at some point. Many small settlements now adorn the backs of these magnificent creatures.
Technology level: N/A
General behavior: The Goi are herd animals who travel in groups of no less than three and no more than five. Omnivorous creatures of opportunity they eat pretty much everything in their path. They also posses a means of digesting sand and stone taking from those sources enough vitamins, minerals, and calories to survive.

History: The Goi have a relatively uninteresting history. They were once hunted by the Daorians for food, but when it was realized quite early on that they were too giant for their primitive weapons to take down they then shifted towards using them and their travel patterns as a way to avoid the Sand Hurricanes of the planet. Since the One Sith have come to the planet they have been mass bred in cages too small for them as a food source and more free manual labor on the planet.

Notable Player-Characters: N/A

Intent: To add some cultural flavor to the desert planet of Daoria that was created for the event contest
