Strengths:
- Remnant: They are ancient in terms, having colonized the Asobi system in ancient times and subjugating the populaces of the world. Their technology is thousands of years old but compared to what was presented tens of thousands more advanced.
- Empowered: Their connection uses the life forces of the body and world. The Nagi believe in the cleansing of worlds that have become advanced and brought about their own destruction. This leads into their primary power
- Destructors: The Nagai are the ones or at least the ones who claim to have come from the skies in ancient times and created the grotesques, their power within the force is able to level cities who oppose them.
- Frail: Their bodies are very frail when in their human form, with Osteogenesis imperfecta as a leading cause of how they can be endangered.
- Short Life Span: Their power is extreme, in some cases devouring their life itself with its corruptive and destructive properties.
- Vulnerable: Their abilities come at a cost greater then their own lives, the Nagai have developed split personalities. With the tricloptic third eyes closing to divide the two personalities. When the eye is open the Nagai is awakened, when it is closed their bodies are working to recover.
- Hypocritically Technophobic: The Go Nagai are strange, they hate technology but use it to enforce their will upon others, they want to see it destroyed but also know that they need to have the most advanced to continue to hold their power. They will refuse to use lesser species technology instead using the life and force to achieve their ends.
- A third eye
- Split personality
- Brittle bones
Races:
- The Go: The human looking personalities of the species that are primarily in control. It is unclear whether they are aware of the Nagai's intentions fully.
- The Nagai: The empowered and dominant personality fulfilling their ancient mandate of destruction and believe their own claims of godhood.
Diet: Basic human foods
Communication: Verbal and force telepathy
Culture: The culture of the Go Nagai is a strange one, they are divided into small fiefdoms that operate and have developed as their own civilizations. Visiting worlds in the pre republic times from the Asobi system and spreading out to places such as Kesh and other worlds. They have murals carved in marble adorning walls of their ships and temples that display their ships coming from the skies as they rained fire down upon them. It isn't know if they are telling the truth or have simply adopted another species that has been long dead deeds as their own but they believe themselves the gods and ones who may pass judgement upon other species. Their daily lives and their diplomatic reasoning is based around this fulfilling cycle of destruction.
Technology level: Their technology is not usable for long periods of time by lesser species, relying on force energy to draw power and the life forces it is highly destructive and on par with ancient Gree technology in terms of still being more advanced then the galactic standard. To present a threat that can be stronger but overcome.
General behavior: Their interactions with each other is very... sadistic. The Go Nagai are small in number but while each ship is its own city essentially the social structure is the same. The captain is the alpha, the strongest among them who controls the beta's under him and can crush those who fight back. There are then three below him, the second in command and two bodyguards chosen for their ferocity in combat, the second in command has two under him or her including the third and the dark one. A Go Nagai who is more sadistic and usually considered a criminal who will do the dirty work of the command structure. Their mates either male or female is outside the command structure and may at anytime they believe their mate has failed and have the others of the ship try to claim them as they maintain their position. being able to take over if the alpha dies unchallenged.
When they meet outsiders, lesser species the Go Nagai are.... hostile they hate technology, they hate outsiders and the ones who have taken the galaxy over. Everything is free game and they do not care about... peace or friendship at least for now. Generations and old traditions can change with time and work but the ones in charge are dangerous wanting to wipe everything out and return it to a state before the Republic when they were the most advanced once again.
History:
The Nagai are a mystery that has reappeared within the Asobi system and slowly started to branch outwards. Their power reawakened when the Taungs spirits were destroyed by the Silver Jedi. With that surge of power their attention came back to the Asobi system from within the Uzeme Nebula. Their resting world of Haven activating and the cryopods that they sleep in protecting them deep within the world.
Their records date back, bringing them to the destruction of Sekerei and Cazador before the Taungs, technology and civilization becoming to advanced for their liking in the past. A mural of it all showing as well as many more displaying their civilization within the Asobi system's outlying planets. Their ships reawakening and moving slowly towards the nearest lifesigns as they observed more technology.
A powerful secret within them is their species itself, their origin's are lost and a mystery but they are humanoids, their claims of the Asobi system being their home has been uncovered deep within the surfaces of the planets where ruins were found. It isn't known if they were one that faced the Destructor and survived becoming that which they feared or if they are the real thing but buying into their own delusions of being gods over the life and death of beings.
